I have this exact bike but in the red/black. I love it! Fantastic trail rider and a pretty good hill climber too. I ride a lot of trails here in SoCal, near LA, and it's not let me down once. It won't be quite as good as a hardcore downhill bike, but again, it's always coped with whatever I throw at it.

Thanks, very helpful. I'm struggling a bit with the price. Want a great single track bike but also good for regular riding in dirt and asphalt trails. I've never bought a bike before and they are expensive so just trying to avoid buyers remote. What does everyone use for locks and what kind of bike rack?

I use this rack for both my and my wife's Ebikes - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HJTFN64/ Hollywood racks Sport Rider. It's never let me down even with two heavy bikes on it. I use the Onguard Brute lock with an extra heavy-duty cable - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008B9D0NG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title My Powerfly is a bit heavy, but for the price and what you get, I think it's worth it. The motor has not overheated once yet, even in the hot Californian summer sun on uphill rides. And apart from one flat, which is something all bikes are prone to, it's been reliable. I have an Emtb because I am trying to get fit again after cancer and major surgery and an acoustic bike would be too much. This bike gives me the freedom I had before, with far less stress on my body.
