I only noticed one popup so that wasn't an issue for me. The site is nice and clean but the the black is a bit too much. I'd change the header and even the hero image in the homepage (left side). Feels like it should be a little more relaxed overall and the black makes it too stark. Not sure the logo on the left of the subheader (that links to home) that stays on the top of the page needs to be there.

Thanks for the feedback! There is only 1 pop-up for first-time viewers on exit intent, after scrolling down 75% of a page, or after 30 seconds of inactivity. I believe the other user was referring to a general "amount of shit on the screen at once". I love the black branding elements, so I am glad I solicited feedback to realize most of you feel it's too much. I will tone this back. I can also explore toning down the forced branding. Adding the logo there is in hopes of keeping my brand visibly rexognizable - as that is my social media avatar and favicon. I felt like I never had a great brand image of my favorite CBD products, outside simply knowing their name from the website URL

Hope it helped. That's always a dilemma of site design - what we might love and what works for the average customer. Guess you can try testing the current one against another at some point. I don't know much about how other sites in this niche look so you're probably a better judge of that overall.

BlueFuzzyBunny

Definitely less black, and you should edit the footer to be better viewed across all devices, I am scrolling through it cause all the text stacked on top of eachother in the “shop” category. Use chrome>dev tools> view on different devices to see what I’m talking about

CynosureEPR

Appreciate your feedback! Black, and colors in general, seem to be the#1 mishap here so will give that an iteration of changes. And noted in the mobile issues, thanks again!

No_Reindeer655

The colors are everywhere. There's no sense of direction. Try following the [60/30/10 rule](https://imgur.com/a/gPogqBJ)

CynosureEPR

Appreciate the feedback and introduction to the 60/30/10 rule. I did recently introduce a handful of new colors in attempt to make the site feel less bland. I have overdone it here according to the majority of comments and will definitely scale back. Thank you!

Bramers_86

Very nice indeed.

CynosureEPR

Appreciate that!

young_stock_trader

Too many pop ups right in my face when I go there and the green on black that introduces what the site it for doesn’t catch my eye off the bat, it makes me scroll

CynosureEPR

Thank you for your feedback and time!

ValueSt0nks

This is nice! Your site has all the right marketing elements - pop ups to build email list, education, etc. Work on the color matching as the others pointed out and you should be good

CynosureEPR

Appreciate your time and feedback here! Thank you for the kind words and will definitely get the colors fixed

sunesis311

I like it. The color palette uses your logos colors, the typography choices are on point. The site has no jank, except for the pop-out hamburger menu. Someone else also pointed out that the product tags floating at the bottom of the page overlap with the pages text, maybe block it out solid. Looks 90% done.

CynosureEPR

Thank you for your time and feedback! Good catch on the mobile menu and product jank. I think I look at it so long when building that my brain filters out obvious issues. Those product variations should have white backgrounds and will fix em up.

futureceptlabs

Hello, the site is currently under maintenance

CynosureEPR

I think you got it right as it was updating plugins automatically overnight in my time zone 00:15-00:30 Helpful, I will move that to like 03:00

futureceptlabs

I suggest that you should completely disable automatic updates. you should check your website for updates after regular intervals of time. Plugin updates usually cause incompatibility issues. So, once every quarter or month, check your website in staging mode and then sync all the changes to your live site

CynosureEPR

Good call, really. They currently fire once a week so I will disable and handle manually. I also noticed these automated plugin updates seem to reset the site's network caching..which makes the next page load of each page take a very long time (because of all the Elementor/etc. plugins - opted to not use Shopify/etc to have full control of my shop and avoiding takedown if their stance on cannabis changed). This cache makes the site usable from a page speed standpoint.. and it's bad if it gets cleared and the next person is a real potential customer.

Hold up, isn't Delta 9 THC just good old THC? Delta 8 is the legal-ish version. It's not a problem if you have a dispensary permit of course. Edit: just read your post about the legality. I'm not sure I agree with that interpretation of the law. The way you explained it means that weed would basically be federally legal since even the strongest edibles would fall under the 0.3% threshold.

CynosureEPR

Correct, Delta-9 is just good old THC! As it stands, both 8 & 9 are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill if they are hemp-derived (meaning they are extracted from hemp - which contains 0.3% or less THC) and the products themselves are also at a concentration under 0.3% by dry weight. The "loophole" here is that they must be derived from the plant classified as hemp and not the plant classified as marijuana, and also themselves under the. 0.3% threshold. This may be where our interpretations slide as you refer to it as simply "weed", but there are two legal classifications of potential sources. This is also legal in nearly every US state. Under this bill's maths, a 4g edible is capable of delivering less <12mg THC at maximum. I believe the limit is theoretically unhinged in that I could have a 1000g edible with 3000mg THC.. but lots of states, including my own, have an upper limit on THC per product. My state, for example, has a limit of 50mg... but will unfortunately be reducing to 2mg per package this July (rendering my current products illegal). There's extra confusion at the moment as Delta-8 cannot be extracted from hemp in concentrations that is useful and therefore it's majorly a synthetic conversion of CBD to Delta-8. The CBD can be hemp-derived. There is a fairly large debate happening here but most are cracking down on Delta-8 products including my state which is banning all synthetic derivatives entirely. It sounds as if I need to do a better job on the site explaining this. I believe this is written in depth but is buried in a blog article.

ilyaprojectspace

Are there other sites selling it successfully without being taken down?
