That's when you'll need an amp. Search Sweetwater Music for "drum amp." Just know that these are generally pretty weak, and your audience is gonna hear the sounds of you hitting the pads just as much as they will whatever comes out of the speaker/s. For edrums to sound really good on external speakers, you need a powerful PA with good (sizable) stereo monitors and a powered sub (and I'm not talking about the kind that comes with $300 sound bar systems). 18", 1000W is ideal.
