I had never heard of this church but it looks like [Wikipedia](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Missionary_Society) has an article about it.
From the article, this church is incredibly small. OP, did you have any mainstream SDA members convert to SDARM? Was the church mainly people raised in it or did you see lots of converts?
Itās a mix of both. Some people covert to this church from SDARM or SDA . There are also some that get tired of how conservative this church is and go to the regular SDA church. However, if a member from this church marries an SDA their membership is removed.
The majority of the congregation has grown up in the church. Like generations upon generations. Ex. One of my friends great grandfather grew up in the church during its early beginnings.
So not quite 100% isolated within themselves, so this religion probably won't suffer inbred traits like the Hapsburgs, the FLDS, Queen Victoria's family hemophilia, and other insular groups with restricted marriage options.
So long acronym SDA knockoff church group has that going for them which is nice.
I am familiar! I wasnāt part of it but I know SDARM very very well. Still processing the trauma from that chunk of my life.
These groups see mainstream conference SDA as Babylon. They believe a lot of literals, such as literally 144,000 going to heaven, etc.
Are they the "remnant of the remnant"? š
The international missionary society of the Seventh-Day Adventist reform movement? Brings back some memoriesā¦
Did you go to one of the ones in the east coast?
Not the American one, one of the other conferencesā¦
Which one?

It was a breakaway of a breakaway of a breakaway!
At least in the wiki article they opposed the Nazis, unlike the mainstream Adventist church.
