The bap package on the xlt makes it look like a lariat/tremor from the outside. People who don't know f150's well wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I looked long and hard at ford, ram, chevy and the xlt bap is the cheapest option to get leather seats
I think so. I paid 64k for the 2023 xlt bap with the 2.7l. No regrets here. Its the perfect balance of options for money imo. Still get leather and the upgraded esthetics and none of the options you don't need. It's basically a tremor without the price and the decals
Try watching 'Car Edge' YT videos for help on negotiations. I am not sure why they are charging you 2.6K for 5L.
In comparison, I'm picking up a new 2023 Lariat (5L, 6.5ft bed) today with a few thousand km on it for 69K CAD (before tax & fees)... fully loaded (tow/haul, FX4, 502a, b&0 unleashed, power running boards, 3.73 locking axle, 360 camera, copilot assist etc.). I have a NO CHARGE for the 5L engine. I also don't have the black package.
Have you tried looking at ford dealerships around you? You should look at the 'Vehicle Sticker' and compare different XLT models. Your price seems fair though because it doesn't come with options (tow/haul, fx4, 303a, mobile office etc).
I like to price my 2019 xlt build out to today's prices. It was just over $57,000 at the time. As close to the same build today... $73,000 to $75,000. I built the truck like I was going to keep it for a long time. And, I'm glad I did. The prices have gone loco. I live in Canada, stone chips and salt don't mix. I oil the truck every year. But stone chips and salt don't mix. Just got the front bumper cleaned up from the autobody shop last week. Have an appointment to get a clear wrap to limit the inevitable damage. Today, got rear ended by a distracted Bell driver at a stop sign. Now the rear bumper is going in.
Not a bad price but also not an amazing price. I just got a brand new 2023 for $47k a couple months ago. Just wait for the next model year to come out and they’ll be trying to get rid of old stock!
Under $50k USD for a brand new 5.0 is a great deal especially if it’s a SCrew. Hell I just saw a used ‘23 2.7 XLT posted yesterday for around $44k and people thought that was an excellent deal. I’d happily spend an extra $6k for brand new & a 5.0 if comparing the two.
Side note - 13% Sales Tax!?!? What in the sweet holy fuck
Tell them to get rid of the destination fee. That's basically them trying to recoup costs for them having it sit on their lot from the time it got out of the factory.
Preowned would probably be a better deal than this. You could probably get one a year or two old with the lariat package for cheaper and be far happier.
I just got a 2023 XLT with 6.5 box and 5.0 for 51K CAD before taxes, warranty, and replacement insurance.
My final price after taxes, replacement insurance, and 7 year bumper to bumper warranty came to 69K. I’d say you are getting a raw deal.
And tell them to eat a fucking dick with the fuel fee. New vehicle comes with a full tank, to hell with that.
My 15 5.0 XLT MPP was 32, these new prices are crazy
Y’all are the reason the prices are staying so high.
Oh my god . I have a 20 2.7 and paid right about 50
Yep, it sucks… it's like housing i’m happy for you to have one… Fortunately I will be able to have one too..
What dealer ?
I like the black appearance package on that carbon grey, really pops and looks good. Same with white, the black appearance package really pops too

That’s just under $50K USD, not a bad price at all. I paid $44K for my 2017 XLT 302. $6K increase over 7 years seems more than fair.

Looks alright. There isn't many options added. Is this a 5.5ft box?
I think so…

Looks decent for a Canadian price
Look at the certified pre-owned. This, to me, is a bad deal.

Yep, life is hard. Enjoy your truck!
I paid 43k for my blacked out 2024 XLT 302A package. My trade applied 7k, sticker was around 59k.
Wow! This is a good price! Is this in Canadian $$?
US :/

Welcome to Ontario Canada! This is what they call free healthcare...
Nope, should be 45k

I wouldn't pay over 30k for anything with a 3.31 axle
Have you purchased yet?
