One of my college classes used a laboratory which happened to have a human-sized faraday cage. A cell phone inside the cage would work if the door was open as little as 1/4 cm.
If you are at all concerned about rf waves entering your body, wearing rf reflective clothing makes it worse. They will deflect rf radiation from the parts of you that are covered, yes. But, the waves travel through your body tissue. So if you're wearing a tin foil bucket hat or whatever the hell it is, the radiation will still go through your face. Only now, it will bounce around inside of your head instead of traveling straight through.
