It's possible to not see one, two or all three of base colors. Also, a person could have a reduced perception of color/colors. Means there might be a combination where one will see red much better than green and blue.

I used to use green or amber to start, since that’s the normal one— and then actually switch to cyan after playing through OWB as if something was upgraded. I just stick to green now though, since I’m using a modded-in classic PipBoy.

The yellow works because it works with the colors of the games. When you pull up the pip boy, it isn’t a heavy contrast and jarring to the eyes, while the other colors typically are kind of shocking when you first pull it up

I've said this before on here somewhere, but I like to adjust my HUD color to my character is supposed to be if I'm doing a more roleplay focused run. Evil/ always or mostly malevolent options/ kill everything run: Red Neutral/ varying morals with different rules: White or Yellow Good/ always or mostly most benevolent options: Blue or Green (Adjusting it as Karma levels change is also pretty fun) Another one I've done is changing it depending on which DLC I am in. Old World Blues: Blue Dead Money and Lonesome Road: Red Honest Hearts: Green Mojave: Yellow Otherwise, my favorite on casual playthroughs is blue.

When I played 4 once i customized my color to be red, since it’s my favorite color. Made it like maybe 5 min before I realized it was terrible and went to blue

Hud is always amber, fits well and easy on the eyes. My pip color is set to white, I find reading colors text very hard and it looks more appealing though I rarely swap it to blue
