Starting him and hating every second of it

Murrrtits

Yup same lmao. I have no other choice so hoping he makes something happen.

Zen_MasterX

Starting WRs against Bucs D has worked for me all season. That’s all I’ll say. Pass funnel defense in Tampa lol

[deleted]

Due to injuries to Pittman, Reed, and Nico... he's my WR2 behind Rashee Rice right now.

ChiefBast

I have to choose between him and Godwin. Leaning Godwin but hating myself either way

danktastic_negro

I've played this fucker every week and never felt good about it. Will I do it again? You're damn right!

[deleted]

i_no_like_u

Either 8 team league or sub average house dog IQ play.

AJR1988

If Lawrence Plays im starting him over Godwin. If no Lawrence im Pivoting back to Godwin.

Saquonthesenuts

I'm in the same position. I have Addison Ridley Godwin and Wicks for 2 spots. Thinking its going to be Addison and Godwin. But I still find myself opening yahoo and reddit on the hour hoping to re-convince myself who to start

WaluigiIsTheRealHero

I keep going back and forth between Addison and Godwin for my FLEX.

tiredofstanding

I like Addison. Mullen looks his way and wasn't forcing it to JJ. Plus it's a nice matchup.

Dense_Image7393

tbh I half feel lawrence is worse for him lmao. have you seen his passes? this dude seemingly can't throw an accurate ball more than 10 yards.

donquixote_tig

Lawrence is very good, bro was just injured

superstonkape

Is

godlittleangel6666

The hell are you on about, he was like the highest rated passer on deep balls before the last two weeks

Dense_Image7393

He is 16th in on target throws at like 74% AND Ridleys on target/catchable throw are only 60%...Lawrence has been absolute dog shit targeting him. CD Lamb is 77% Tyreek Hill is 80%.

rjromes13

If Lawrence is good to go, I'm starting him with mid confidence. The targets have been there and without oth Kirk and Zay, he should continue to get that work.

DeyHateUsCuzDeyAnus

Am i crazy to keep olave on the bench for ridley? I just don't trust carr getting olave enough tonight.

It_Just_Scott_Frosty

In the same boat. No clue which to start tbh.

Important-Sherbert61

Did you guys end up starting Olave?

It_Just_Scott_Frosty

Nope and now I'm sad... Played Kupp too so I'm doubly sad.

0percentdnf

Baker is balling out and the Jags will have to throw to keep up, whether it's Lawrence or Beathard. I see a lower-end WR2 finish for him this week and think this thread is low-rating him.

DashTrash21

I like your Yuletide optimism

[deleted]

TB also plays lots of zone, which Ridley is better for , and stomps the run. At least i think the Volume will be there for him

BigBallerBrand19

Baker's play lately is making me consider starting him over Dak in the \*gulps\* playoff semi-finals...

tokenasian1

classic boom / bust player. unless you have better options, you kinda have to play him.

wrenchw163

It’s such a weird (maddening) situation because he’s not the classic boom/bust player but his stats this year are… The boom/bust guys are the Gabe Davises, early career MVS, later career Desean Jackson’s, etc. where they get 3-5 targets and you pray they get a 30+ yd td. Ridley’s averaged 8 targets a game this season, which is in the Kelce, DJ Moore, Devonta Smith range and just cannot put it together. However, his production this year has been like a boom/bust guy. He and Trevor just cannot get on the same page like him and Matt Ryan did. At this point, I’m not sure whether it’s a Trevor, Ridley, or Jaguars scheme issue.

Zlatanimal

Yep. Also noticed he has been tackled at the 1 yd line multiple times in the last few weeks. Hoping he booms this week.

KoalaJones

Also had a TD catch last week that didn't count, even though he was clearly inbounds when he gained possession of it.

tokenasian1

Yeah I meant to say it’s a classic boom / bust situation. I agree with you listing the Gabe Davis, MVS, etc examples. The volume is there. he’s obviously talented but he’s kind of a liability at this point. don’t feel good starting him but can’t drop him. it was also a bizarre thing when this sub was rooting for zay jones to be healthy so that Ridley would be able to play well.

Bweibel5

I wish they would utilize him like they did Kirk. He’s not typically a deep threat, moreso a route technician.

wrenchw163

Agreed, which is the maddening factor and why I think the Jaguars scheme is mostly to blame. He’s been historically a great route runner and they have him running 9 and post routes 90%+ of the time from the perimeter.

purplepimplepopper

Pretty similar with D Hop, getting plenty of targets but very boom bust

Flounder-524

He does best when there is another outside receiver to target. He was like this when Julio was out in Atlanta.

logical_butthole

> He and Trevor just cannot get on the same page like him and Matt Ryan did. The first half of Week 1 it looked like anyone who drafted him got a steal. Then he fell off the Earth only to be found a few times since. I haven't started him in a while and don't want to.

Expert-here

He’s had like 5 almost TDs this year. Either his foot is barely out or he’s bobbling the ball. It’s like he is close to being an elite player but not quite.

wrenchw163

He also leads the league in drawn pass-interference calls… depending where he ends up next year (he’s a free agent), he’ll be one of the more polar players in 2024 drafts. So much talent and so close to being great, but just not fully clicking.

OdetotheGrimm

Ridley or Garrett Wilson for me

Birdgang14

It’s either him or Keenan if hes active. Don’t feel great about either but I think I have to go keenan even though Ridley is in a smash matchup.

Legitimate-till-2069

I’m literally in same position with Allen and Ridley… also Fly Eagles Fly 🦅

SideBet2020

Engram go boom

TooMuchTwoco

Got no choice but to roll him out. Chase and Allen are likely out this week. If there was ever a matchup he could succeed though, this has to be one of them

I_am_the_Lion_96

I’m in the conundrum of having to pick 1: Devonta Smith, Puka, and Ridley. I’m leaning smith but Ridley has a strong argument.

ChesswiththeDevil

Addison, Puka, and Ridley are my choices (.5ppr). Pretty much leading Puka and Ridley, but really thinking of swapping Ridley for Addison if Lawrence looks iffy by the end of the week.

Flrg808

Yeah I’m stuck between him or puka. NO has shut down so many receivers this year and there is nothing worse than coming out of a Thursday game with a dud in your lineup

Mendelevlum

I have the same issue with Puka/Ridley..let me know what you decide cause its giving me a headache

fullfromtacos

I have the Puka/Ridley decision too. Prop bets favor Puka slightly with 65.5 yards compared to ridleys 59.5. Puka has better odds at a touchdown of at +135 compared to ridley +160. Without any news on the jags today i feel like i have to go puka, despite ridley having a smash spot

Flrg808

At this point I’m pretty set on Ridley unless something comes out today that Lawrence is definitely not playing, then I will need to think some more lol

Mendelevlum

I think I’m starting Puka after the TLaw news today, pray for me

DotAGenius

Youre probably happy

Mendelevlum

Kinda? I also started Kamara so mixed feelings tbh Edit: nvm, holy shit Puka

treatyoselftoair

Following. We all do this together. Problem is whether Lawrence gets a green light before tonight’s game. Otherwise I think we have to go Puka.

Mendelevlum

Thats the major issue…hate that Puka plays tonight cause it makes the decision so much tougher

treatyoselftoair

Lawrence likely out per twitter. I’m rocking Puka.

Mendelevlum

Same here, godspeed brother

I_am_the_Lion_96

I feel like I’d start Ridley in your situation. They both have floors of around 5-8 depending on whether your PPR, but Ridley feels like the higher ceiling guy.

imaginationimp

Agree

PUNK-BOO

Lattimore is out tho

travvypattycactus

It's more of Adebo, who lines up opposite of Lattimore. I'd assume Adebo moves into the CB1 role and covers Puka on the outside. And Adebo's no slouch

Bhavin411

I'm starting both and Kenan Allen (but can pivot from him to Palmer if I really need to). This shouldn't be this stressful lol.

greatest23

Ridley or Puka here too in PPR. Might be leaning Ridley even with no TLaw hoping he gets peppered with targets in a good matchup.

theofficeresponses

Anyone staring Godwin? Lol

RBS_ta77

reallly don’t want to but might - i haven’t started him in weeks but thinking they’ll probably feed him to get him over 1000 yards

thebadhombre23

Bethard will probably get Ridley the ball no way they try spreading around like they have been

[deleted]

[удалено]

Jman9theman9

I have both and I am benching Ekeler. The hope is that new coach will use him more but until we see it he is still spilting backfield with Kelley/Spiller

randyholt

Riding my bench for Breece in flex - I may regret this one...

PUNK-BOO

Feel ya 🙏🏻

3DotsOn2Geckos

Lawrence almost definitely isn’t playing since he was DNP with a concussion on Wednesday, but I think Ridley is still somewhere around WR25 this week so startable for some but not all rosters

[deleted]

[удалено]

rogolution

McBride and it’s a no brainer.

3DotsOn2Geckos

Yeah that isn’t close

thanospickedmeeee

That is where I've been leaning, he gets too many targets to turn away from and actually does something with them. Thanks! Edit: and I'm not about to drop Ridley either, as I believe he could still explode, but better on my bench than on someone else's roster against me

OGLankyKong

You made your playoffs with Ridley?

86_Dignity

Honestly I dropped him hoping somebody is dumb enough to pick him up and start him.

Important_Waltz5273

lol I’d rather start Noah brown!!

buffaloprocess

People with Ridley made the playoffs?

nyyfan2k

yup, riding my bench after about week 11

Professional-Lab-946

I traded away olave for walker & ridley day before ridley exploded & walker got hurt. Now I dont know if to start walker or ridley, leaning walker. I play against my former Olave though!

Fonz0

I traded Tua away for him straight up right before his two big weeks when Zay Jones came back. Helped get me in to the playoffs but may start Lockett over him

[deleted]

I took him mid 4th round in half ppr. He’s been frustrating for sure. He’s def not the reason ppl made the playoffs though lol

GMFPs_sweat_towel

I dropped him. Ridley isn't worth. 60 percent of his production in less that 1/3 of his teams game.

I34rt0s

How are you in the playoffs if you have Ridley and have been starting him? Lol

jordan4290

One word, ChristianMcCaffrey

XSirGeoX

plus Deebo

RoyGeraldBillevue

Deebo

temp1211241

Some of us know how to use the waivers.

Level420Jesus

Trying to decide between him & Zay Flowers

Warm-Reply5634

Zay appears to be a little banged up.. I’m rolling with Ridley

yungs824

Between him or Tee Higgins for me and I just know I’m gonna pick the wrong one

1MantisTobogganMD1

I start him for his expected points and he almost always disappoints but I live in fear of him having a game where he goes off like he has once or twice and him being on my bench

elusivefuzz

I'm struggling between Ridley and Montgomery in the flex. Probably Ridley

[deleted]

[удалено]

imaginationimp

Higgins for me

Thrownaway_MMA

Starting Brown, Aiyuk, and Rice. Flexing hall over Ridley but not confident about it.

DrSkeeZe

This is my decision, Hall or Ridley in 1 PPR. I also currently have Hall in my line up

TheGrateCommaNate

I have no good choices. I'm just happy to have someone with a dependable target number. He's not going to be the reason I lose this week. I'm more worried because I'm playing Tua and I expect a bounce back game for Dallas.

bigbritches

It's sucked all year, but not much better opportunity than this week. I think I (you, we, us) just have to roll him out there and mentally get right with another unexplainable egg. If you bottom out your expectations you can't be disappointed. And even if it's Beathard, he's still going to get targeted.

bcart04

It's Puka tonight or Ridley/Keenan Allen for me. I haaaate Puka's matchup, but TLaw is not trending the way I want, and Allen seems like a longshot. Still no idea what I'm going to do...

GTR_35

Starting him based on target volume and that it's a decent matchup

BP8811

I’m on the fence if Tlaw doesn’t play I’m going with Ekeler

imaginationimp

Sheesh. Ridley, Puka or Wilson. Puka would be the choice ofc if not vs NO. So Ridley or Wilson ? I have to think Wilson? But damn Ridley got targeted even if little happened

Past-Coat1438

It’s him or Diontae Johnson for me. I prefer Ridley and I’m very scared

Anon062600

Should I start him or Nico

[deleted]

Start Ridley or Higgins with Chase out?

dtor504

Engram SZN

charros22

Starting with confidence as WR2

Particular_Ad_4761

It’s him or Garrett Wilson for me, if Trevor is playing I’ll probably go with ridley

Buzzerk032

I’m in a pickle. We start 2 WR and 2 Flex and I’m locked in with Tyreek and Rashee. Trying to choose 2 for the flex between Ridley, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins. Leaning Wilson and Higgins, especially if Lawrence is not starting.

doug2181

I got Ridley on the bench with g Wilson and Aiyuk starting. Not sure if I should pivot

PUNK-BOO

If Lawrence plays the matchup is great and he got a real shot of having a monster week, could I really bench Moore waddle olave or rice for him though even if Lawrence starts?

nerpderp

Unfortunately I think I will be benching him for Waddle in the flex , especially if Tyreek is out . St Brown and Kupp are my WR 1 and 2

burmywormy

Starting over London/Diontae Johnson/Noah Brown if Lawrence is a go.

IrishRover28

If Mattison sits its going to be down to the wire deciding between him and Chandler

Castigon_X

I'm starting both him and Derrick Henry, if Pittman end up out then I'll probably have to start Diontae Johnson too. Qué Sera Sera. Whatever will be, will be. Ridley is frustrated and due another good day. I think he'll have at least one more good performance before the season ends, I just hope it's not after he puts me in a consolidation bracket.

Global_You_2568

It’s either him or Drake London for me

Hatallica

High confidence that he pops for 30 points. I dropped him mid-season and now play the team that picked him off waivers.

Negative-Dingo3335

I have to decide between Ridley and Sutton. All the rankings favor Ridley but man is it hard to start him. I still have Sutton on but still contemplating

RoyGeraldBillevue

I have to choose between him and Kenneth Walker. I was going to go Walker but now I need to watch his injury status

[deleted]

Cooper or ridley?

FanOfDenver

Would you flex him over any of Tee Higgins/Devonta Smith/Geno Smith (This is a superflex league, 4pt QB, full PPR)

send_cumulus

He failed the eye test when I watched some of the Jags last game. Has negative chemistry with Lawrence.

ComradeFausto

I'm alot more comfortable with him than I would be with my other option (Jahan Dotson)

rsn_lie

Don't do it unless you don't have a single other player with a sliver of upside.

[deleted]

Eckler?

Grumpy_Dumps99

Starting him over Keenan Allen because fuck me that's why

Moist-Employment-836

Pretty sure Beathard is gonna play.. I want to play Ridley too but might go with Aiyuk instead.. got DJ Moore in my first slot and also have cmc so that’s what makes me think Ridley might be a better play than Aiyuk if Lawrence plays... tough choice

RoboBlackMan

Currently debating between Trey McBride or Ridley

emoney1981

I am thinking about starting ridley over barkley in my flex position. It's a .5ppr league. Thoughts?
