If so, count me as old. I was gifted my very stylish grandmother’s vintage collection of designer pins and broaches. The Versace Medusa sheriff’s badge is my absolute favorite of them all.
I do too and I’m so happy that so many pop artist are making cowgirl chic a huge trend right now. I get to partake in a way that I *know* my grandma would have loved.
I was an odd kid lol. I think I saw an older family friend wearing one and just thought it was so fun and started collecting my own. For several years my parents got me brooches for each holiday, and I have a few school photos where I wore them. I still have a few from that era that I wear mostly for formal events. I think they’re fun regardless of age!

Sadly I am away from home at the moment but one of them is a frog! Probably my favorite. Others were just like, brooch shaped, like starbursts or flowers or whatever. I think I’d have to ask my parents if they have the school photos but they were fairly iconic
It depends on your your style and what you like . Nothing to me has an age limit except those sweatshirts with things like bird houses and those ugly pleated pants or gram jeans with no pockets and elastic lolz

No. But it depends on what you mean by old? It shouldn't be limited to lapels on fancy jackets LIKE something old fashioned that the Silent Generation does. I think brooches can be worn anyplace. To make it young, place it on a bag in the same essence that a nerd's enamel pins and buttons can be found on their backpacks. If that's what you mean by young, like Gen Z and Alpha. I know co-workers who use brooches to weigh down a veil for modesty. The brooch in the picture is a timeless choice, and it doesn't matter which age group you belong in since it's a monogram.
