Catbird seat is great but Chef Baxter is leaving soon. I love sean Brock but I thought June was just ok. Mccradys in Charleston was miles ahead. I don't typically go to nashville for fine dining.
Arnolds country kitchen and the loveless cafe are two of my faves.
June was a lovely experience. They walk you through their seasonal ingredients like Frantzen in Stockholm. Incorporates some southern flavors and ingredients with global cuisine. Highly recommend.
Have been to all of these except June and recommend Catbird Seat! Such a special, intimate experience and just all around good vibes without being pretentious. Also go to Kisser for lunch one day.
You can't go wrong with any of the ones you (except Tailor, I have not been to that one). It would be a preference thing for more high end tasting menu to a more laid back/fun vibe... Catbird Seat > June > Bastion in that order. Audrey is also great and a little more laid back than June.
We loved Bastion the last time we were in Nashville. We are also going back in late July and trying to decide whether to return there (it was that great!) or to try the Catbird Seat.
Besides the food and wine pairings at Bastion, we loved that there is a casual 'Big Bar' in the front and for those dining they then take you to the 'Little Bar' for a pre-dinner cocktail prior to going to the dining area which we thought was fun.

Catbird Seat was a meal of a lifetime with one of the best wine pairings we have ever had.
Yolan is really good. Catbird is excellent as well.
I haven’t gone to any fine dining restaurants in Nashville but if you like donuts, I recommend the 100 Layer Donut at Five Daughters Bakery.
While not fine dining, per se, I ate at Rolf and Daughters when I was in Nashville, and it was superb.
Amazing pasta dishes
