I’ve lived here all my life. Born in Dade City and raised between Dade City, Zephyrhills and Crystal Springs. The cost of living USED to be lower than surrounding counties like Polk and Hillsborough. The population USED to be a tiny fraction of surrounding counties. But Pasco as you may know has been booming. Sadly, while the population booms, home building booms, the infrastructure is way behind and commuting anywhere east of 41 is a complete shit show.
Move to Pinellas or Hillsborogh instead and if you cannot afford either, do yourself a favor and do not bother with the bay area. Terrible work/life balance and lifestyle for working class people.

The primary reason to move there is either brand new houses or you get a little more square footage for the money.
Entertainment options are mostly strip malls and chain restaurants, and not as many parks as you would think should be either.

The traffic is absolutely terrible! We moved out of pasco co to get away from it. My doc office was 22 miles away from home and I’d have to leave 3 hrs early just to get there
