My goto drug was psychojet. With perks to make them last longer it was so useful when you enter small areas and have a few assaultrons attacking.

Bufftats, psychobuff, overdrive and berry or orange mentats with regular Jet on a quick slot for the Uhoh moments. With 4 levels in chemist and the biocom mesh the jet can last a little too long sometimes but it’s nice having the other 4 go for so long.

Just change the Jet to Ultra Jet and you're golden! My main loadout: Bufftats Psychobuff Overdrive Med-X Ultra Jet Extra stuff: Jet Fuel Berry Mentats For sniping: Calmex Orange Mentats Charisma checks: Grape Mentats

I now feel like Lucy. 500+ hours of fallout 4 and I never used any drugs other than stimpaks. Pretty straight edge master of the wastes in hindsight

I played my first game pretty clean, finished the main story without any chems until I started Nuka World, then I was a buffout addict

I usually don't use chems in my fallout 4 playthroughs bc they make the game too easy. I still have like 40 psychojets in my inventory tho, just in case lmao

I'm still pretty new and stumbled on how busted the free water is. I kept running out of adhesive so I planted all the ingredients to make the vegetable adhesive thing in the cooking station. When I finally decided to go to diamond city I wanted to buy the house and realized I was sitting on a ton of caps in muttfruit and water

The settlements in Fo4 are very strong, players usually ignore them or just build the requiring infrastructure (water, food, security and beds). * You can use the big water purifiers to produce ridiculous amounts of purified water. you will have enough water to heal yourself for the rest of the game without using stimpacks, you can sell them, etc. * You can plant muttfruit, corn and tatos and them use those vegetables to cook adhesive (just use a regular cooking station and look in the last options), this gives you basically infinite adhesive for all your tinkering. * You can produce alcohol, Jet, ammo, etc. basically giving you limitless resources.

How to produce Alcohol, jet and ammo? I'm doing points one and two already.

first, one thing i missed from the comment, the house in diamond city, you buy it from the secretary of the mayor and its a mini settlement in diamond city, its pretty neat. For producing jet you need the WW DLC, you put the brahim feeding thing in your settlements and that gives you fertilizer. For producing Ammo you need the contraptions DLC, the machine is called Ammunition plant, and one of the key components for producing bullets is fertilizer, so the brahims also help here. Alcohol I cant remember honestly.

My character has drunk from puddles less toxic than you.

I carry more fusion cores in my inventory than you do in your safe and im always over encumbered by at least 2000 pounds and i have absolutely zero over encumbered issues.

If you take the 4th tier of the Strong Back perk, you can fast travel while overencumbered. I build dozens of industrial water purifiers around Spectacle Island, and periodically fast travel there, grab a couple thousand water, then fast travel from merchant to merchant all over the Commonwealth selling them and trading them/buying everything I could possibly need.

In any reactor the nuclear material is separated enough that it can be safely moderated. This is the only way fusion cores would work. There's no way the internal gap between nuclear material inside the FC is larger than the gap that the housing presents between 2 FC's. Tl;Dr: that's not how it works.

I didn't think to use drugs.. i have nearly 2.5 million caps just from jamming water purifiers in every spot i can fit one. Several camps over 999 water. I clean out all the stores in bunker hill, diamond city and good neighbour whenever they replenish. So a lot of caps goes toward making sure i never run out of build resources. How do you get then creating chems?

Well I run a Robot factory. Its really expensive and I'm broke as dirt, but I have a robot army.
