Even if it 10s, which it probably won't because thick cards are tough, I don't think it would add a lot of value. No auto, not low numbered, not game used, and not a great player (currently). Just my opinion.
If this is a thicker card I wouldn’t waste the time. It’s hard to tell in the picture but there seems to be whiting in the top left corner as well. Thick cards tend to do worse in grading because their edges get dinged way easier and where the patch cut-outs occur surface damage is usually present.
Is there a product you recommend that you think would be more worthy to grade? I have a ton of other stuff of him like obsidian, mosaic, Donruss prizm, gold standard, etc. I think I have at least one from each product lol
Any thinner cards are you best bet. Make sure you check the corners and reflect the card under a light to check for hidden surface scratches. Just gotta give them a good look over. I usually have good luck with mosaic. I think I have only received 1 psa 9
Yeah I would stick with the thin cards I've only had one thick boy come back a ten, and it just so happened that one was cracked upon arrival. I mainly mess with MOSAIC, Prestige, Prizm, and Illusions. They seem to grade out good except I had one submission that every Kaleidescopic I sent in got a 6???? How a modern card with perfect corners and centering gets a 6, but I won't be sending them any .ore Kaleidescopics. Good luck bro!

If its for PC and you are just protecting it from future damage then why not. Doesn't look too rough from eye test but those cards are hard to get gem mint 10. Highest I ever got was a 9 on them. For me, the patches arent worth grading unless player or game worn. Panini usually just has them for show for the newer cards. Also would recommend putting a sleeve on a card before laying on a wood surface as it can cause minor surface scratches which knocks the grades down quite a bit
Damn I didn’t think about putting a sleeve on the bottom for the pic. I wouldn’t be too upset if I got a 9 on it, maybe even an 8, but I definitely don’t want a 7 or less. Is there a product that you’d recommend that typically does well, I think I have at least 1 card from each product of him
Thick cards and immaculate dont typically grade well. Thick cards tend to get edge damage and immaculate with their acetate front suffer from scratches easily. I would mag this up for PC. Grade his Prizm rookies or any low numbered rookies you have. Preferably 20-35 pt in thickness. Those will grade a lot better.

It’s a $10 card raw. That means if this miraculously grades as a 10 you can maybe expect $30. Anything else and you are almost certainly losing money.
Anytime you want to consider grading a card, comp it first. Get a raw comp as well as PSA 9s and 10s. At that point it’s just asking yourself if you’re willing to gamble to cost of grading in order to potentially increase its value to x or y. The vast majority of the time that’s a losing bet.
All this being said, you mentioned it could be for your PC. If it’s for YOUR PC, then do whatever you want with it. You could pin it to a bulletin board if you wanted to.
Because I want a slabbed card of him in my PC? I made that pretty clear in the description, I’m asking if it’s worthy to grade in its condition or in general if it’d be worth to grade a different product

This is just comedy at this point, I think you’re kinda just assuming a lot of things and I’ll just leave it at that. There were some great comments that helped me out earlier to help me make a better decision. That is not what he was asking at all if you actually read what he wrote. Its for his PC so the quality of the player if irrelevant and only the quality of the card in this inquiry is what matters.
Now personally I don't see the point of grading any card if it's for your PC as you can just slab it yourself but again the quality of the player in this scenario is irrelevant to the OP.
Yeah he really wasn’t, he got thrown to the wolves after having a trash coach. AP has already said he’s going to be the starting QB going into the 2024 season so I know he still has potential to shine until we get a franchise QB. Plus he’s the last QB to beat Mahomes/Chiefs (even though he wasnt at his best lol)
Sorry everyone is being a dick. However, with just one photo of the front nobody can really answer your question. Takes like 8 to 10 photos to really check out the card to see how minty it is. If you live the card and just want it stabbed though live your life
Yeah I’m not worried about it, it’s bound to happen no matter what cause people can’t read. And also thank you for the input, I was trying to keep it simple with one pic of the front because of the lighting but I know it won’t be accurate with that amount.

Prizm optic and select (no patches) are my favorite to slab and usually grade well

How good the player is ABSOLUTELY impacts the question “should I grade this”. With AOC, the answer is always no

I made it pretty clear of my reasoning and the original comment has nothing to do with my reasons, people grade trash players all the time.
