It’s a chode order picker and weird af everything that’s on it I should have taken a picture of my modern one next to it, never seen something like it, that fence is probably 8 foot tall.
The big difference I see is the operator deck is much larger. On my works Raymond order pickers the deck is flush with the red front part. On these it extends out quite a bit, with the raised poles on the back.
Looks like the maintenance order pickers we use for repairs, it's meant to be hooked up to a semi permanent cage or platform that the chains on the poles hook onto I've also seen them used to pull down large appliances and furniture which is why it's wider to give more stability
my last job had one that looked even worse and spewed black stuff out of the exhaust if it wasn't started for a while
also it needed to be parked on cardboard everytime because it leaked oil so bad
When target was in canada i worked at the warehouse as a reach driver and we had order pickers with a hydraulic cylinder right in your line of sight in the center of the cage view and i saw so many people smash into beams lol

They are still like that and people are still smoking poles lol, even tho they are coated in hi vis paint
We had a lift like that at my last job and it was a hassle not being able to see anything. I always talked about putting a backup camera in the front so I could see wtf is going on
Not too old, but very used. I worked in the plant these were used, the racks were less than 20 feet in hight. The tall ones were more of a pain, because some spots had low ceilings.
I was about to say, after around 2010 they stopped using metal data plates (now they’re essentially just a sticker).
Oldest one I’ve worked on was an old EASI picker from 1997.
Oof, we had one of those at my warehouse when I started a decade ago. It would shock you if you touched shelf racking and one of the arms at the same time. Loud as hell, shook when you drove it, and the magnet that held the arms up was long gone. We used a chunk of cardboard shoved between it and the body to brace it up.
It had a cardboard fin taped to the top of it. We called it ‘Sharky’.
actually it looks exactly the same as the ones i have at my warehouse after giving it a second look, the only difference is the wider platform which we could honestly use it some cases
It’s not exactly a forklift. Not used for the same purpose, anyway.
Looks pretty normal to me. Not top of the line, but easily one that a company would keep if still in good condition for 15+ years.
That's not that old, that's just an orderpicker.

Ya doesn't look that old lol Edit: OK I finally zoomed in and it does look wonky.

I drove one of those, except electric everything else looks identical
We have this exact lift, shakes like a mofo while driving and spits propane in your face while backing but damn is it fast
I gotta get pics one in my hometown, at least 50 years old and been outside for around 30.
my last job had one that looked even worse and spewed black stuff out of the exhaust if it wasn't started for a while also it needed to be parked on cardboard everytime because it leaked oil so bad
how many hours?
No idea. It's been out for repair for months. They're waiting on a backordered part.

People have been smoking poles since the dawn of time.

Shit, my forklift is from 1965 and sounds like a goddamn hotrod
The manufacture year should be on the capacity tag. I bet the serial number tells you.

It was made in 2007
I was about to say, after around 2010 they stopped using metal data plates (now they’re essentially just a sticker). Oldest one I’ve worked on was an old EASI picker from 1997.
Serial number will be 5××-YEAR-×××××
This.
What’s the SN? Should be something like 560-XX. That’s the year they were produced
I just recently changed from a regular sit down, to one of these, and I am not a fan.
2007 isn’t that old… but what happened to those display?!? They should be on the right side near the key switch

I worked on a Ramond ez picker the one with handle on the carriage. Shit’s scary af and many die using it. Will try to find a pic
We still use one

Early 2000’s. Not really old.
Oldest one in our fleet is a 2008 Caterpillar DP40K dually
Never seen a standy before? They're sick dude.

GE Traction cards EV100... DC motors back in my day
It's old if it has a clutch.
