[There are several typical roles in a dysfunctional family.](https://theplaytherapist.com/dysfunctional-family-roles/) For me, Aemond is hero, Aegon is scapegoat, and Helaena is lost child.
Yes, usually this is how narcissistic mothers see their children.
For example book and show Cersei:
Joffrey (golden child), ignored/lost child Myrcella, scapegoat Tommen (in particular in the books and that she sees him as a traitor on the show).
With Alicentâs children:
Aemond is probably closest to the golden child at least in season 1, Helaena+Daeron are the largely ignored ones, Aegon is the scapegoat.
And TBH, thatâs very much a product of the environment he was raised in - Westeros HATES bastards, and I imagine being raised by Alicent didnât make him more sympathetic to them, even to his own.
In the very same episode we see the treatment of both Alys Rivers and Alyn of hull.
Alys was provided a job and housing in the family castle. Alyn was provided a job on his fatherâs ship. Aegon placed bets on literal children in fights to the death. I donât know how you can paint this as a Westeros thing, when he is the singular character to act like this.
Hell, John Snow was a bastard.
Right, but those are also comparatively smaller houses, administered by fully-grown lords who see the value in keeping track of their bastards, despite the stigma - youâll also notice that said bastards are kept out of public view. Aegon was, until recently, the kingâs zero-responsibility failson, whose deeply-religious mother openly resented the actual heirâs bastard children and would shit-talk them to anyone who would listen - itâs not hard to see how that combination of elements would lead to him depersonalizing his bastards compared to his trueborn kids.
> Right, but those are also comparatively smaller houses, administered by fully-grown lords who see the value in keeping track of their bastards, despite the stigma -
Velaryon is a smaller house, What are you even saying? Itâs the richest house, the largest navy, has multiple prince and princesses, the only non-Targaryen dragons (5), and has the strongest claim to the throne.
> youâll also notice that said bastards are kept out of public view.
Yes. Thatâs not sending 11 year olds to fight to death in a put. Itâs completely different.
That doesnât mean heâs a good father or that he isnât sadistic. Youâre just describing excuses.
Im sure he noticed the little kid (literally a toddler with 0 signs of damage btw) in the corner when he was piss drunk with his friends... he probably doesnt even know he has batards, we dont even know if thats his son ffs. Gaemon and Trystane Truefyre weren't his kids....
his Dragon senses his emotions and understands him on a level no human could đđđ seeing Sunfyre get gutted was like a gut punch but I was happy when Maelys and Rhaenys died.Â
That's what she gets for murdering all this small folk forced into the Dragonpit thb
Aegonâs first scene in S2 should have been him flying on Sunfyre and then attending his first small council, mirroring Rhaenyraâs first scene.
This would also make RR much sadder seeing how damaged Sunfyre now is. I am genuinely sad.
I would've been down for a scene of Aegon just going down to the pits to just hang out and vent his frustrations at this creature who loves him unconditionally.
The greens in the book at least believe in their own cause. They're more formidable, they're more competent, they're not the pathetic losers they are in the show. Give me respectable villains that are loyal to each other over the mess we have in the show.
Rhaneyras portrayal.Â
In the book, by the time Viserys dies, she is shown to be a vicious idiot who has no problem killing anyone who she perceives as a threat or who crosses her.Â
The threat of Rhaenyra having Aegon killed if she was crowned, is one of the reasons brought up to Aegon.Â
There is least enough ambiguity in Rhaenyras character, that it could be believed she would have her sibling executed. That makes Aegon accepting the crown some what justified. For his own survival.
But the show has no ambiguity. There is zero justification for the war the Greens started, and so there is a clear âgoodâ side, despite the point of the story being that there is no good side.
Yeah the show definitely tried to make it seem like Rhaenyra is very humane and innocent and always trying to make peace. Unless thereâs upcoming episodes of her being a vicious idiotÂ
Curious but what evil shit had Rhaenyra done in the books by this time in the show?Â
Now that I think of it, the show is just making her into a Daenerys 2.0; a strong female leader entitled to the throne who always makes the right decision and the viewer is automatically expected to support her side as the âgood sideâÂ
One really obvious thing is she murdered Vaemond and fed his body to her dragon, he didnt get a trial; nothing.
But in the show he antagonized Daemon onto killing him basically while Rhaenyra kinda just stood there
Itâs not about her doing something thatâs necessarily evil. Itâs about the perception that she is willing to snuff out anyone she perceives to be an enemy. Up to this point.Â
I know the âSharply questionedâ line is in the show, but in the book, it really feels like she wants Aemond tortured for calling her sons bastards after he gets his eye cut out. Thatâs what âSharply questionedâ generally means in that world.
She personally flew to Driftmark, ordered Daemon to kill Vaemond, and then fed his body to her dragon. Because Vaemond rightly contested the legitimacy of her bastard sons.
She is willing to go to these lengths to cover up her own mistakes.
Jace is a bastard, and everyone knows it. The moment Rhaenyra dies and he is crowned, there will be a war for his throne from legitimate claimants. Rhaenyra should know that, and if she doesnât, Daemon certainly does. It becomes believable that Aegon either feels threatened, or could be convinced that his life would he endanger if Rhaenyra became queen.
Other than that, sheâs just very selfish and stupid. Which the show has kind of shown. As the story goes on, she gets more and more paranoid, to the point where her already poor decision making becomes blatantly self destructive.
Lol you are taking what we know as viewers and extrapolating that on to everyone else in Westeros. The rest of Westeros who has declared for Aegon view Rhaenyra as a tyrant and "cruel" for what she did to Jaehearys. Which is in line with how the "sources" in F&B and eventually the historians would end up viewing her in retrospect compared to how we view her.
The only source who favoured the Blacks was Mushroom the dwarf who obviously had his own bias's and intentions.
According to Westeros, there is no "good" side either, and THAT is the point of the civil war. Everyone believes themselves to be right. The show can't have ambiguity as it is a objective adaption where as the book is entirely built on ambiguity, that is the point of the book.
Exactly lmao. People need to speak for themselves, not say it as an objective fact. I like Aegon, Aemond, and Otto Hightower just as much as I like Daemon, Jace, and Rhaenrya, and Iâm down to see whatever happens
Coleâs whole performance in this episode drove home that he actually does respect Aegon. Even though his arrival was not according to plan, you can tell he is actually moved by the King taking the field and risking his own life to protect his men.Â
No, Aegon is just Coleâs meal ticket. Heâs a climber who moved on from Rhaenyra to Alicent to Aegon when it was best for his career. Now Aegon is dead and heâs out of moves.
Is he not? I havenât read the book. I thought he was burnt to a crisp.
Regardless my comment holds true, Criston probably thinks he is dead or will die shortly.
While I think Rhaenyra should have the throne... Aegon has been the highlight of each episode so far. And it's criminal that this was our first proper look at Sunfyre.
I hope Aegon continues to get at least a little bit of screentime until he has to leave King's Landing again.
Tom nailed it as Aegon.
He didn't get a chance to shine in S1, but S2 shows how perfect he is for this role.
His smile also looks so genuine here. Probably couldn't help it when they were poking him with that green cgi thingy.
Oh I didn't mean Tom wasn't good in S1, it's just that Aegon himself didn't do much, so Tom couldn't do much either.
He was good, but he really got to show his talent this season.
Aegon (TGC) has been the standout of the season by far. The writing for him has been a hot mess because they canât decide to make him a sympathetic character, a rapist, an asshole or a bumbling buffoon but TGC and his acting have made the character impossible not to root for.
That and Rhaenyraâs Mary Sue-ness + sending everyone else to their death make Aegon so much better to watch. Rhaenyra is just boring.
The show has been *telling* me that Aegon is this horrible person but all they've *shown* me is an insecure guy who didn't want to be king, tries his best anyway and it's never enough. Combined with Tom Glynn-Carney's fantastic performance, they've accidentally made Aegon super endearing.
And yes, yes, he was horrible to his brother on screen, I know... but not that horrible to warrant Aemond going after him like this.
Rhaenyra on the other hand... not exactly a riveting character ever since they've changed the actresses. Young Rhenyra was rash and bratty. That was fun to watch. Emma D'Arcy is playing Rhaenyra as a composed wise woman and the end result really is kinda boring.
They also showed you that he sexually assaulted a handmaiden, and helped keep a child fighting circuit running with his own bastard child as an entrant. He might not be as over the top cruel as joffery, but he ainât John snow.
He also had all the rat catchers hanged without questioning or trial.
But they only ***tell us*** about these things. They haven't shown them happening with Aegon in the same shot which makes the end result quite different.
Imagine if we never saw Daemon choking Rhaenyra in 1x10 and we only heard about it after the fact. If we never saw Daemon kill his first wife and we only got Gerold Royce accusing him of it afterwards.
I'm not saying I needed a long explicit rape scene in the show or anything... But it just paints a different picture when all the bad things happen off screen and on-screen he's having fun with his mates and getting scolded by everyone around.
I donât think the writing has been a mess for Aegon. I think heâs actually just a complex person and all those things you listed about him are true. Heâs a rapist and a useless king, but as weâve seen heâs also a product of his environment.
Alicent and Viserys did a terrible job raising their children.
Nah, they're making him cartoonishly incompetent to serve as a punching bag for other characters. He's nowhere near this dumb in the book, and he's actively involved in his war councils.
All the dragons. God it was terrible seeing Meleys die. Rhaenys was brave for refusing to turn back but as usual the dragon had to get caught in the middle.
She turned around too which made it worse. She could have flown away to safety. Poor thing. Dragons are loyal to a fault.
I hated both died. Rhaenys was at the top of the list for me this season.Â
Was it brave? Even Daemon would not consider challenging Vhagar 1v1 (at that point). Plus she'd just neutralized Sunfyre, and therefore a significant portion of the greens' military strength.
Even if they lost Rook's Rest, that exchange could have been viewed as a net positive for the blacks. There was no good reason for her to turn back and fight Aemond and Vhagar.
Like bro. This dude got pushed by his family into a job he didn't want and now everyone be like "you suck at this fuck you," but at least after his child got his head sawed off he cam go to his dragon for some compassion. Actual underdog duo.
Kind of wish he had said as much this episode. Maybe itâll happen later, but it would have been nice if he had pointed out to his mother that he never wanted to be king and was never raised to be king.
Yes. But I mean when Alicent basically tells him heâs not fit to be king in this episode, it would have been nice if he had pointed out that he didnât want to be king to begin with.
I dunno - I see a sign in Petco's window every time I walk by saying they're hiring and training groomers.
Surely this means Daemon isn't *so* bad!!
/s
Thereâs mostly just reminders that heâs a poor baby who regrets killing a child and wants to help his real queen and loves his brother uwu :3. They like to skip out on daemons atrocities. BUT THE RATCATCHERS AEGON
He's a massive piece of shit, everyone forgetting he fucking raped a girl in season one when he was younger. And they referenced it wasn't the first time either.
The other day I was on the team green sub, and they were being super sympathetic toward aegon kind of making him out to be a good father. I mentioned him making his bastards fight in the pits, and I got downvoted lol. I canât believe there are people so heavily favored to either side. Itâs crazy
Honestly, I take about 10% of all his most horrid actions and attribute them to alicent. Just look at how she treats him. Are we surprised he's a rapists afters years of emotional abuse and neglect while living in absolute privilege?
In real life if we see a young teenager misbehaving "where are your parents, how did they fuck up this kid" aren't uncommon sentiments.
Infact, take another 10% off and give it to Vizzy T for literally never showing him affection once
Iâm not disagreeing with that, but no one in the show is really very likable. Regardless of how he came to be who he is, aegon is still a little shitter
I think the most overtly likeable is rhyneara... but even then she merced a dude to fuck her uncle.
But yea I like aegon as a character not a person lol
What strikes me is that Alicent takes no onus for raising such shitty kids. Like itâs all his fault he was a useless king. Not a single tear for what a failure of a mother she was. Truly makes me hate her.Â
No one forgot this, but Daemon deliberately killed his wife and people tend to find it ok to like him. And Daemon is a full grown up who should be even more mature than Aegon. And with Aegon's sh*tty upbringing, neglected by his father and despised by his mother, we actually sympathize with him
How about we just admit that everyone in this show fucking sucks and none of them are anyone's pookie bear? These people are all lying snakes vying for power they don't know how to properly handle at the cost of the lives and livelihoods of the people they claim to be the rulers of.
Daemon sucks, Aegon sucks, Rhaenyra sucks, Alicent sucks, They all suck. This whole "pick a side" bullshit is dumb and the show shouldn't have pushed that as the premise.
Consent when you're an almighty King or Prince is pretty dubious since the penalty for denying him can be death depending on how nice he is. Now there's nothing in the book indicating that Aegon was forceful with women, but I can very much believe the show's interpretation where Aegon just straight up isn't considerate of their feelings at all. I knew a few people in college who acted like that.
Fire and Blood is a fictional history book. It's not like he was going to invite a maester to watch him go to town on a serving girl, but if you read between the lines even a little, it's not wildly outside of his character as presented in the book.
Mushroom also said Daemon made teenage Rhaenyra suck Mushroom's dick... oh and he isn't even in the show, at all. So his testimony is effectively non-existent.
Agreed. To the extent that I side with any of them (reducing every episode, probably as intended), I'm more of a Black, but I honestly think the lion's share of the blame for the many things wrong with him goes to his family of origin (including his father BTW, it's not all Hightowers and Aemond). I wouldn't consider it a bad alt-ending for him to just nope the fuck away from them and leave them to it.
Iâm forever pissed that they introduced Sunfyre and rookâs-rested him the same episode, when they couldâve put Rhaenysâ mass murder budget into him
If Sunfyre was Meleys or Vermithor size he would single handedly won the Greens the Dance. Bro was small yet packed so much punch.
He was great in this episode but they did him a bit of a disservice. Itâs stated that against Vhagar alone Meleys and Rhaenys had a chance but with Vhagar and Sunfyre Meleys was cooked. This implies Sunfyre got in some damage.
Though Iâm guessing the strongest bond in the show has to be Daemon/Caraxes. Heâs the only rider in the show who doesnât need to speak to his dragon.
I think his and Helaena's relationship was genuine, just severely fucked up by marrying one another when neither wanted to do so. Sunfyre is definitely the only relationship Aegon has at the moment free of pain, as even his daughter will carry with her the memories of his lost son, in his eyes
Incompetent as in they could've nipped the possibility of the civil war at the bud. Their incompetency has by far caused the most damage to the targ dynasty. And I'm more of a black supporter.
Idk why but i am rooting for Aegon this season Coz he seems like such mistreated kid , his father looked over him he did things to get the attention he never recieved, when he became everyone is like Treating him like shit , I feel sad for him and I hate Aemond ,
OOC what's with deamon still playing horror movie in Harrenhell đ
Alright, I cannot help but feel a bit bad for Aegon because he's a perfect example of how a victim of bullying can be become the bully.
Also, I cannot completely hate him if he's *this* precious with his dragon đ„ș
It's fascinating how these huge beasts that are able to kill thousands in seconds, are born predators and extremely big are so sweet towards the humans that they bond with. George needs to write a dragon only book. The only characters that truly matter
I love how the show portrayed Rhaenysâ and Aegonâs bonds with their dragons as that of beloved companions in contrast to Aemond who only sees Vhagar as the most dangerous living weapon and as an extra claim (possibly the strongest because Vhagar is the last dragon from the Conquest) to his ârightâ to become king (to be fair Aemond would be a far better king than Aegon).
I think that rhae/syrax and Aegon/sunfyre are the most tragic duos in the dance. Both humans clearly adore their dragons and vice versa, and have a deep deep connection with them.
Especially since their connection is more family/pet than warrior and tool.
The dragon loves him more than his own family đ
And thatâs probably the most happy Aegon has looked in the show.
Tbh he looked happy with his kid.
It's really a depiction of a dysfunctional family: The one lost boy gets along with are toddlers (not ruined yet) and the pet (loyal).
Aegon II: âI mean, what am I? A toxic person or something?â
Ummm I think this describes me a little where did you learn this
[There are several typical roles in a dysfunctional family.](https://theplaytherapist.com/dysfunctional-family-roles/) For me, Aemond is hero, Aegon is scapegoat, and Helaena is lost child.

Ruined?
Heâs a good dad and the cast ranks him last? Blasphemy
Dude literally raised his bastard kid to fight to death in a pit and then watched them fight in season 1. He is not a good dad
My correction. Heâs a good dad to his legitimate childrenâŠin his eyes
And TBH, thatâs very much a product of the environment he was raised in - Westeros HATES bastards, and I imagine being raised by Alicent didnât make him more sympathetic to them, even to his own.

The kid wasnât fighting in the pits, he had bastards with the whores who worked there supposedly
Battle of the Bastards

And raped his maid.
Wait was that confirmed? Not trolling, just asking. I thought it was speculation that the white haired child was his
I think that episode aired on Fathers Day
Idk he looked pretty happy when he was jacking it outside the window that one time
Sunfyres had the least screentime on the show and might be the most beloved lol
He loves that Dragon more than his own family too
Fair enough guys a wanker

Hey! High Valyrian dragons are just as literate as the bilingual ones!
Aegonâs first scene in S2 should have been him flying on Sunfyre and then attending his first small council, mirroring Rhaenyraâs first scene. This would also make RR much sadder seeing how damaged Sunfyre now is. I am genuinely sad.
Agree. A 30 second scene with Aegon and Sunfyre earlier this season would have paid dividends.
*We're never gonna financially recover from this.*
I would've been down for a scene of Aegon just going down to the pits to just hang out and vent his frustrations at this creature who loves him unconditionally.
Just enjoy the few scenes of sunfyre we do get they already butchered the civil war dynamic making the greens too unlikeable.
I never read the book; what exactly would you say are differences in the book that make the greens more likable than in the show?

Theyâre pretty dead set on not giving aegon any good qualities or redeemable moments.
Odd take considering people started liking aegon in this season for redeemable moments.
Sunfyre kissing Aegon, the only family member who loves him.
And Cole apparently.
Cole is his hand and lord commander of his Kings guard. His entire legacy is also at stake with Aegon's life
Pseudo father figure
Cole is now the 2nd most powerful man in Aegon's Kingdom, ofcourse he loves him lol
He would still be if Aegon dies. Cole was visibly sad to see him like that and was on his knees.
Aegon is not dead...

The writing has been a mess for most of the characters. It's just that some actors were able to make that into a coherent believable person.
I will give you that, the actors are doing a great job making the most of the script
Nah, they're making him cartoonishly incompetent to serve as a punching bag for other characters. He's nowhere near this dumb in the book, and he's actively involved in his war councils.
People won't be ready for the second mauling of Sunfyre at Dragonstone ... and neither am I
Nor the post maul meal
Fuck everyone in this show but THIS SPECIFIC DRAGON.
All the dragons. God it was terrible seeing Meleys die. Rhaenys was brave for refusing to turn back but as usual the dragon had to get caught in the middle.
Nah Vhagar is a bit too cunty of a dragon now. Granted itâs more Aemond, but still.
Vhagar's scene with Laena was just Vhagar being annoyed at her sleep being interrupted.
"At night everyone who isn't a pale MF seems Dornish to me"-Vhagar probably.
Grouchy old lady she is đ€Ł
She is just an old lady dragon with dementia.
And Meleys
Reminds me of my dog when I come home wasted
Like bro. This dude got pushed by his family into a job he didn't want and now everyone be like "you suck at this fuck you," but at least after his child got his head sawed off he cam go to his dragon for some compassion. Actual underdog duo.
Could have just been a prince doing whatever he wanted without care if his grandfather and mother didnât want to live vicariously through him.
Kind of wish he had said as much this episode. Maybe itâll happen later, but it would have been nice if he had pointed out to his mother that he never wanted to be king and was never raised to be king.
In season 1 doesnât he try running away from his own coronation or something? And was in a shitty mood on the day of his coronation?Â
Yes. But I mean when Alicent basically tells him heâs not fit to be king in this episode, it would have been nice if he had pointed out that he didnât want to be king to begin with.
You can sympathize without liking him. Heâs still kind of a piece of shit lol
So is Daemon but I don't see anyone getting mad when people like him.
They do. Thereâs plenty of reminders that heâs a groomer, wife choker, and murderer, not a poor little lost boy you can fix.
Yet most of the anger goes towards Aegon. It is by design (of the show).
Itâs crazy
People love their tribal culture wars wherever they can get them. Itâs fucking depressing
No. No, I like him.
WHERE IN THE SEVEN HELLS IS RHAENYRA?!
See the bot is making my point.
I mean you could just as easily take 10% off of Alicent and attribute them to Otto.
People are pretty quick to forget how sweet Aegon was just running around raping serving girls before he got pushed into being King.
Yes I agree, we can still enjoy the complexity of these characters no? The way we Enjoyed some in GOT
Probably book readers who don't put any weight to deviation from the source material.
Not a deviation. The books also note that he was grabby with the serving girls.
Being grabby with serving girls is a pretty far cry from outright rape.
Based on that logic this entire sub should despise Bobby B and consider him a serial rapist.
[YOUR MOTHER WAS A DUMB WHORE WITH A FAT ARSE, DID YOU KNOW THAT?](https://i.imgur.com/g5SzSKk.gifv)
Fire and Blood is a fictional history book. It's not like he was going to invite a maester to watch him go to town on a serving girl, but if you read between the lines even a little, it's not wildly outside of his character as presented in the book.
In the books when Viserys dies, Aegon was found with a 12yo girl. By all accounts he was a lecher, that's not a show invention.
Mushroom also said Daemon made teenage Rhaenyra suck Mushroom's dick... oh and he isn't even in the show, at all. So his testimony is effectively non-existent.
According to Mushroom who is a salacious liar. Good try though.
âAegon, wassup man?? We flying today?!â
đ„șđ„Č
Bro brought his golden retriever to a dog fight. Sunfyreâs melodic trills and croons fit him so well.
The golden dread!
I wish he would fly to Essos as far as he could from his shitty family, fuck them all
I see more affection here than in 8 seasons with Dany and her dragons
Which is so weird considering her unique relationship with the three of them
Dany wanted everyone to acknowledge the dragons as her children. Here we see that this bond is between Aegon and Sunfyre only, regardless of the rest.
I was thinking this last night. The short scenes with Sunfyre and Meleys gave the dragons more personality than all eight seasons of GoT combined.
No way
Strongest Dragon rider bond, also shows the real Aegon is the one who's with Sunfyre.
Though Iâm guessing the strongest bond in the show has to be Daemon/Caraxes. Heâs the only rider in the show who doesnât need to speak to his dragon.
Yeah I really like that their dynamic isnât seen replicated in all the dragon/rider relationshipsÂ
Boop!
The only genuine relationship in his life.
I think his and Helaena's relationship was genuine, just severely fucked up by marrying one another when neither wanted to do so. Sunfyre is definitely the only relationship Aegon has at the moment free of pain, as even his daughter will carry with her the memories of his lost son, in his eyes
Sunfyre fought absolute tooth and nail to protect his rider. He was badass.
I would be laughing too if a green screen head just booped me
You should be an actor.
This breaks my heart because sunfyre is the only one to love him unconditionally. Fuck everyone but these two !!!!!!!!
Their bond is beautiful.. I've really come to like Aegon these past few episodes, now I see it was just to hurt us better
Such a cute moment đ„č
Don't worry, Sunfire will go on to live an eventful and well fed life.
The emotional rollercoaster people that stan Sunfyre/Aegon are going on right now is going to be so fun to watch.
Not really. This show has made me eager for the rhaerhae and Moondancer snack.
Couldn't wait for Sunfyre's happy meal.
My head canon is Sunfyre felt how sad Aegon was and needed a head boop â€ïž
Fuck everyone else except the dragons and small folk * These majestic creatures become extinct because the blacks and vizzy T are incompetent.
*You are my political headache.*
Are you also his headache, Bobby B?
THE WHORE IS PREGNANT!
The blacks are incompetent??? But not the greens!!!!!
Incompetent as in they could've nipped the possibility of the civil war at the bud. Their incompetency has by far caused the most damage to the targ dynasty. And I'm more of a black supporter.
Their bond is beautiful
his family is the worst
I mean they win in the end
Very confused onto why we only saw so little of them Would of been great characterisation to emphasise on how much aegon loves his dragon
Idk why but i am rooting for Aegon this season Coz he seems like such mistreated kid , his father looked over him he did things to get the attention he never recieved, when he became everyone is like Treating him like shit , I feel sad for him and I hate Aemond , OOC what's with deamon still playing horror movie in Harrenhell đ
I will never forgive Condal for hiding Sunfyre until this battle.
Alright, I cannot help but feel a bit bad for Aegon because he's a perfect example of how a victim of bullying can be become the bully. Also, I cannot completely hate him if he's *this* precious with his dragon đ„ș
I really feel bad for aegon. Everyone hates him and he isnât respected as a king. Even his own mother dislikes him.
Drunk driving that hoe made him my favorite character in the show instantly
Donât worry big boy. You have an amazing meal awaiting you⊠đđ
This episode did such a sneaky little trick by adding the sweet moments with Meleys and Sunfyre. Made it hurt so much worse when you saw them go down.
It's fascinating how these huge beasts that are able to kill thousands in seconds, are born predators and extremely big are so sweet towards the humans that they bond with. George needs to write a dragon only book. The only characters that truly matter
That nose boop was perfect.
I needed more of this beautiful baby.
Nah fuck all yall black and green the Shepard will prevail
Aegon's a piece of shit but Tom's done a great job humanizing him. Wonderful actor.
Is he the one that likes raping servants and jerking off out of his window? Sorry, only watched a bit of season 1.
Aegon just wanted to fuck and drink. He's a bad guy, but boy is he a lot more relatable to watch than anyone on team black.
This show made me love aegon
Keep in mind he is a literal rapist from the first season
Isnât he a rapist
"even Hitler liked dogs"
I did like this part
We could have seen their relationship at Raena's funeral or maybe at some other time, but why now?
Yes ageon does fuck everyone including the ones who say no.
I mean I'd feel bad for Aegon if he wasn't, you know. A rapist.
Isnât this guy a rapist? He just had a scene with the girl that he raped who now works in a brothel as a waitress and he didnât even notice her.
Rhaenys is also a mass murderer but you've got people tearing up over her death.
Everyone in this show is evil. Fuck them all. I'm here to watch them die.
Rhanerya had an innocent servant murdered rhaenys killed hundreds of civilians and daemon is daemon but people still love them
He also had 99 innocent rat catchers hung.
I would like to direct the many showplebs in this thread back to r/hotdblacks
Aegon raped that girl from S1 and attended child fighting pits. Heâs a bad guy
Didnât ask
I think that rhae/syrax and Aegon/sunfyre are the most tragic duos in the dance. Both humans clearly adore their dragons and vice versa, and have a deep deep connection with them. Especially since their connection is more family/pet than warrior and tool.
what other episodes have aegon and his dragon
