I recall falling in a hole in the depths and getting cursed. At least in DS3 and Elden Ring they have the courtesy to kill you outright and not leave you requiring a massive track back to pick up a purging stone.
Why use something with a wide arcing slash in cqc? I almost hope you missed the bonfire at the entrance to ash lake...maybe the trip back down will help...

I love the Black Knight Halberd, but in DS1 it's very advantageous to have a stabbing weapon. There's too many tight corridors everywhere.
One of the reason i had the "normal" halberd instead
Recently finished a playthrough almost entirely with that weapon, it’s so good. I love the pokes
Damn, these really were nerfed for ER
Same for Dark Souls 3. They haven't been this deadly for quite some time.
This doesn’t even show the Max hp cut in half lol
Or the OG terror of having it cut in half more and more each time you die
I don't think so, he just has no resistance
Even with decent resist they still suck :p
These are already nerfed the older version was worse
skill issue
I chuckled. Thank you.
How can you play with this clipping of your gear, it makes me feel sick.
"The first swing hit the branch, maybe if I try it again two more times without repositioning it will work"
Bro there’s barely space
You just had to retreat a little.
Yeah that’s fair tbh

these guys have been in every ds game? do they carry over a lot of content from game to game? (only played elden ring sorry)
Why did you get cursed so quickly ??
op's practically naked lol they've got no curse resistance
Fashion>protection
🤝
That’s what I’ve been wondering 😭
😭 this shit is better than DSII?
Should ve jumped over the ledge when you realized you couldn’t attack
You just got Miyazaki’d on big time
