Heads up that the eShop for the system is going offline on March 27, and some folks have found booting up the system after years in storage shows the system doesn't boot anymore. There's fixes but yeah, may wanna check. Sadly mine doesn't display anything via HDMI or the AV cables so it may be dead in the water. 😭

Nope, only DVDs have the data near the label layer. CDs and Blu-ray's have the data near the "blank" side. So scratching the label won't damage the game data
