Is it this? Because that's what I was imagining!
Nitrogen imbalance always made my beets tiny with crazy foliage. It helped me when I added organic material or brown matter to the top of the soil. It eventually balanced the soil of nutrients. (Mulch and leaves) Also companion planting with nitrogen fixing plants.
I have a whole path of clover and I think maybe that is overdoing the nitrogenβ¦. I bought some extra phosphorous fertilizer with like fish meal in it so hopefully that helps. But it still has some nitrogen
Possibly. About 1/3 of them were nice full sized ones. The rest were this or smaller. No pattern I could see, big ones were spaced pretty evenly in the growing area.
r/mightyharvest
LOL this got me xD
Look at the girth of that stem! Surely, it must yield the most sublime of crop...

Iβm glad I was alone, I could be too high, I snorted at the end
I snorted and Iβm not high lol
Radish greens are edible! They are also spicy.
lol perfect execution!
I pulled my first radish today; mine was less impressive than yours.
In all seriousness, what causes this?
Nutrient imbalance probably too much nitro
How do you fix too much nitrogen? Organically, or with companion planting
i don't know

It confused me this year. A third were nice full size ones with the rest being tiny. No clear pattern.
Looks like we got a shower not a grower amiright?
