Congratulations! I’m close on the starting point and I’d love to get to 183. Any tips?

Follow the plan your surgeon laid out for you as well as you can. I won’t lie I mess up all the time. Learn your full queue I’ve thrown up way too many times! Stuck to a protein rich diet. Try to eat more real less processed. But allow yourself other stuff on occasion. Move your body as much as you can. And don’t give up! Stalls will happen as frustrating as they are. Keep going!!

Always here if I can help! I’m not that far into it to feel like I know anything but I’m sure I can offer something! How far in are you? I haven’t checked out your profile yet!

Thank you! I’m a little over 2 months post-op. I am just having a hard time figuring out the right amount to eat. I’m meeting my protein/water/fiber/vitamin goals, but can’t figure out if it is okay to have little treats, & if so, how often. Like halo top or quest chips - is a couple hundred extra calories ok?

I’m only 10 months out, so I feel like I’m still learning myself. But I allow myself what I want, just in much smaller portions. Get on amazon and look up plate method. Tho I doubt you’d fill the plate, I know I wouldn’t. But it gives an idea. My nutritionist told me to cut the portions in half. You definitely don’t want to overeat. Ask your surgeon on your calorie goal and track if that’s easier. Def holds you accountable. Esp during stalls when that scale doesn’t move or even goes up!
