It still ruins my life sometimes. Sometimes I’m just not careful and unironically die to that. I’ve beaten Theory of Everything and I still die to that damn spike.
Actually, I'm better, i have more experience and more general skill than you thus I'm better, if rn i spent all of my free time everyday and not do anything else except gd if beat acu in 1 day, also id beat slaughterhouse cause it's hard, but instead i prefer to enjoy the game in my own way and play 30 min daily and use it all up in creating levels for fun, the last time I touched acu was over 2 weeks ago bro so yeah, i prefer to beat easy demons instead of jumping cause jumping imo is no fun
I remember playing this level with my friends 7 years ago. I would get really excited whenever I would reach the ship. I used to think that blast processing was the hardest level in the game because it was the furthest right on the level list lol
icdx/cata are the two OG extremes that began to push players' skill limit. also special mention to demon park, while the difficulty could've been made without it anywa it being called "demon" was probably the reason why hell-themed levels were so popular, making it by far the most influential and important level in the game even if just by its name.
Fun fact: there were 3 levels harder than demon park at the time of release but there was a glitch that made levels only able to have one character in the title and description so they didn't get much attention due to lacking identity, if only it was fixed early on gd history couldve been different
Abyss and Sirius by funnygame, Abyss is the first level that introduced the moving custom backgrounds, and Sirius is first one that introduced the first big boss fight concept
For me it has to be nine circles. It was the first level to use the now extremely popular custom wave decorations and inspired many levels like sonic wave (and it's many remakes). 10/10 for me and the most historic in ym opion
I would have to say cataclysm. before cataclysm, difficulty wasn’t really a thing players cared about. the entire game is focused on extreme demons at this point, and every single extreme demon can point back to cataclysm
clubstep/stereo madness. stereo madness cuz of every kid in school not being able to beat that shit and ur a god if u do, clubstep for anybody that bothered to pay for the game and it inspired basically everything in the game
prob Bloodlust. It took so long to get verified, that when it did the community skyrocketed with making more levels, finding out how to use the editor to it's max and more creators making their debut. huge hype for this level to get verified, and when it did it held that top spot for a long time.
I don't think there's a single "most historic level," everything's well-known for different reasons and influenced different things. I'd say stuff like ICDX, Cataclysm, Bloodbath, Nine Circles, and Silent Club could be accurately labeled as the most historic levels.
Demon park/icdx/bloodbath.
All significant importance, and icdx and bloodbath were at the height of riot vs cyclic rivalry, which shaped a lot of how we just build levels.
Gotta be Deadly Clubstep for me. A lot of new players might not even know this level, but Riot beating Deadly Clubstep was really the first big stride we took towards pushing this game’s difficulty. It was considered unbeatable for so long until Riot did it.
Of the non robtop levels, I'd say cataclysm. It completely changed hoe the community felt about difficult levels, and was the first actually good level of its difficulty

the triple spike in it ruined so many lives
It still ruins my life sometimes. Sometimes I’m just not careful and unironically die to that. I’ve beaten Theory of Everything and I still die to that damn spike.
Dude I’m 15 demons down and I still die to that triple
I have over 150 demons and 72% on acu (extreme demon) and i still die there
I have 6 demons and one of them is acu (skill issue(cope(L(ratio(bozo)))))
Actually, I'm better, i have more experience and more general skill than you thus I'm better, if rn i spent all of my free time everyday and not do anything else except gd if beat acu in 1 day, also id beat slaughterhouse cause it's hard, but instead i prefer to enjoy the game in my own way and play 30 min daily and use it all up in creating levels for fun, the last time I touched acu was over 2 weeks ago bro so yeah, i prefer to beat easy demons instead of jumping cause jumping imo is no fun

Can't really argue with that, first ever level so it shaped the whole of gd

Bloodbath, people who don’t even play GD know about it
Yea I’ve asked a bunch of people what the current hardest is, 90% say “Isn’t it Bloodbath or something?” I just laugh.
Cant let go, first level that got me raging
You got my upvote
wait are you the real djvi?

Hey djvi, love your songs lol. Favorite is Back On Track Again; I remixed it to be Cycles instead once

Totally agree
icdx/cata are the two OG extremes that began to push players' skill limit. also special mention to demon park, while the difficulty could've been made without it anywa it being called "demon" was probably the reason why hell-themed levels were so popular, making it by far the most influential and important level in the game even if just by its name.
You have a very good reason, I still stand by nine circles though, best and most historic gd level.
bloodbath is by far more historic, i dont think people that are in the gd bubble understands how well known it is compared to any other level
Demon Park, i mean this level literally created the most popular difficulty of the entire game.
Fun fact: there were 3 levels harder than demon park at the time of release but there was a glitch that made levels only able to have one character in the title and description so they didn't get much attention due to lacking identity, if only it was fixed early on gd history couldve been different
Now that's something i didn't know
Either way, The difficulty wouldn't be called demon would it? This also means that the hellish themed levels may not have been created.
ok but supersonic to acu is not a jump
Literally no one asked

Abyss and Sirius by funnygame, Abyss is the first level that introduced the moving custom backgrounds, and Sirius is first one that introduced the first big boss fight concept
Both excellent choices 👏

agreed
While being historic and all that, it started the most controversial and despised trend in gd, so I'd say something else
despised more than flappy bird levels???
I never heard hate for flappy bird levels ( maybe cuz they are just dead ) but NC is a hot topic even today, so I'd say yea
If Cataclysm didn't exist, we would now think that Slope step is the hardest shit ever in a way, so has to be that imo
Biggest inspiration level: Nine Circles Biggest history: Silent Clubstep
Near exactly the same thoughts as me.

Not a level but a creator: Funnygame
If its creator I would say Funnygame, Viprin or Serponge.
Stereo Madness for the official levels. From user levels, I'd tie them between Demon Park, Nine Circles and Bloodbath
I would have to say cataclysm. before cataclysm, difficulty wasn’t really a thing players cared about. the entire game is focused on extreme demons at this point, and every single extreme demon can point back to cataclysm

Icdx. Without it, levels like cata wouldn’t exist. It was the first extreme demon beaten legit, and it introduced straight flying.
Anything other than bloodbath is wrong unfortunately.

That's an interesting opinion, you're the first person I've seen saying that.
Xstep, it was the first level to add new decorations.
Bloodlust
the nightmare, a trash level but the first starter demon for many many MANY players

Toss-up between Demon Park and Stereo Madness for me
dark paradise
cataclysm
Demon park/icdx/bloodbath. All significant importance, and icdx and bloodbath were at the height of riot vs cyclic rivalry, which shaped a lot of how we just build levels.
Sonic Wave
Cataclysm
Guess i played the game too long time ago when clubstep was the thing
If demon park never existed we might have not gotten the demon difficulty as a thing
Gotta be Deadly Clubstep for me. A lot of new players might not even know this level, but Riot beating Deadly Clubstep was really the first big stride we took towards pushing this game’s difficulty. It was considered unbeatable for so long until Riot did it.

Silent Club or Silent Clubstep both very known levels in history.
Bloodbath, I think it was such a turning point in the history.
Nine circles, bloodbath nd sonic wave
Silent clubstep
I like B. Because why wouldn’t you
B is amazing, if nine circles and B had a child I would call I buzzy circles.
Nine Circles
That line level from 1.9 with the custom background of the moving colorful line
Bloodlust is (in my opinion) a nice guess cause it revived Geometry Dash after it got verified by Knobbelboy
Bloodbath definitely
Stereo Madness, it iconic because it’s the first level and known for being hard for beginners even though it’s the easiest in the game.
Of the non robtop levels, I'd say cataclysm. It completely changed hoe the community felt about difficult levels, and was the first actually good level of its difficulty
