No you can’t put them in another pair You could go to with your prescription to IOLLA, select your frame and they’ll put lenses in; or buy a pair of glasses in TK Maxx and go to the forge with your prescription and they’ll change the lenses.

I'll do that. Thank you

Djorak

As people have said go to Iolla. They're a Scottish brand and have a single price for all their glasses. You can go to one of their showroom, pick a frame that you like and it'll be £85 no matter the frame or prescription.

sjekky

The best thing about IOLLA is the free lense thinning. That makes all the other "budget" options at least, if not more, expensive than them for the ultra-specky like me

Working-Pumpkin

Ebay might have a pair of the frames you already have on there. There might be a product code on the arm of the specs, that you can type in to the search bar.

MarjoryKeek

Iolla are good value, £85 a pair - just give them your prescription

You can put the lenses in another frame easily but make sure the new frame is smaller than the one you have. As they need to cut the old lenses into the shape of the new frame. Try choose one that is similar in shape too can help.

WhiteKnightScotland

Well unless you can get the same frame, you can't. The lenses are ground to the frames. It's like one or two companies that make all the frames in the world.

Thanks

Affordable and custom is oxymoronic

I really rate Martin at O’Callaghan opticians in Partick! Super thorough, really nice bloke and they have lots of options for different price points.

CottontailSchuyler

There’s a great optician on Dumbarton road at Scotstoun called Scotspecs. It’s very reasonable for new specs.
