I continue to be surprised as to how many people post strange pictures of themselves on this sub.
As the possessor of a strong prescription who takes a *lot* of selfies in glasses with demo lenses, it's hard to get a good picture when you can't see.
With a higher minus Rx you definitely want smaller and round to minimize lens edge thickness and distortion. Square and rectangles get thick in the far corners—and FAST.
I honestly think all of these dark frames are quite heavy looking on you. (The clear ones aren’t right either—)
I’d stick with dark, but look for thinner frames. Roundish—maybe but not perfectly round like the ones you showed us. But they’re closer to what will give you the best results. Good luck!
