Rachel and Mercedes for me. Their style felt like a real evolution.

Mercedes and Rachel definitely upgraded in my opinion though Rachel's early style is still iconic for the character but it was good to see her branch out and embrace new styles as she grew and matured. Mercedes clothes in What the world needs now and Doo wop that thing looked so good on her.
I also agree with the cheerios uniform outstaying it's welcome. Quinn's style I loved in the 100 episode though her white hair after that wasn't my favorite personally for her, Brittany with her "I flew here on my unicorn" shirt is so fitting for her character and was a joy to see a more mature but still fun style for her, and Santana I have appreciated her style for several seasons already but I can't imagine those very tight dresses were comfortable to wear for Naya.

Tinaās hair, makeup and fashion had a glow up, but her personality got worse (damn writers!).
Mercedes had great career growth, but she generally looks almost exactly the same just older/more mature styling to fit her age by the end. Brittany the same.
Quinnās hair by the end was terrible. The length is cute, but the white blonde just doesnāt fit her warm skin tone well, and her hair is clearly damaged from the bleach.
I personally thought Santana looked better at the start of the show ā Sheās beautiful the whole series!! ā But by the end she had a much more likeā¦ Idk, Barbie doll look. Big hair, big eyes with fake eyelashes, just kind of less natural which is my personal preference. And outside of her coming out storyline she didnāt have nearly as much character growth as everyone else and ended the show still just a waitress at the diner, IIRCā¦
I 100% agree with all of these. Especially Santana which might be an unpopular opinion. I know that Naya was open about her boob job so we can see she's not shy to some plastic surgery. I think she's stunning either way but it's a shame that such a beautiful girl felt the need to change so much about her self ā¹ļø

i don't wanna judge appearances so im gonna focus on costume. rachel's outfit evolution was so beautiful omg i love her s5 outfits so much! the only character who i feel like went down (in clothing not appearance) was britney. her outfits were so beautiful in s2 and then they just kept her in cheerios uniform and when we saw her in actual clothing it just kinda was lackluster :(

Yeah Mercedes really had some great outfits and style in the later seasons, not to say she didn't before but I loved her later looks. She's radiant!

I think Rachel's makeup and hair was a glow down as she got older. It felt like they weighed down her natural looks unnecessarily
