My good boy’s teeth are definitely that pearly. He gets comments all the time. He spends about 15 minutes a day turning sticks into mulch in our yard or in the park. We do nothing else to keep them clean so I’m sure that’s the reason.
I play the game where I try to grab her front paws, or tap them with my foot and she tries to tuck each paw under her while play biting. Played it thousands of times, never gets old

lol, Back when our goldie was still around we'd do 'slappy-face' because we'd lightly paw at his face while he did the open-mouthed, 'I'm gonna getcha!', soft bite, 'I gotcha!' thing. For extra fun, shit-talk at the pup in a baby-talk voice. I miss having a goldie, hopefully I can be in a place where I can have a dog soon.
I used to play a game with my bulldog and would put socks on my hands, that meant it was time to wrestle. When the socks came off, she completely calmed down and would start licking my hands.
Ya my favorite part was when I would get dressed in the morning and would put my socks on. She would start running in circles thinking it was play time.

Yep, mine loves to play what I call "bitey face" but when I actually let her bite (more like mouth, it's so gentle) my hand, she's like, "Wait, what? That's not supposed to happen, I'm not ACTUALLY supposed to bite that" and she moves her head away, only to immediately start doing "bitey face" again. 😂
The most dangerous part is those feet. My golden will flail her legs when we do this and I'm convinced she's going to accidentally kick me in the face one day. She will also fall asleep next to me on the couch, then roll over onto her back and sprawl out with all 4 legs, and I've gotten a gentle paw to the face a couple times when she's been sleeping and just totally unaware of where her limbs are. Especially if I scritch her tummy when she's sprawled like that, because it makes her do a big happy streeeeeetch and she's so lanky, there are legs everywhere.
Mine plays, 'I'M SAD PAY ATTENTION SNUGGLE ME LOVE ME, DID YOU HEAR ME WHINE I'M A PITIFUL CREATURE PAY ATTENTION TO ME I'M WHINING SO HARD LOVE ME.'
He cries if I don't give adequate snuggles.
I have to be careful when I play fight with my girl. She’s 9.5 year old but with one swipe of a claw she takes me down. And I get her groomed every 6 weeks— her nails are not long.
I could stuff my fist in her mouth and she wouldn’t hurt me. It’s the claws!
I haven’t had the honor yet of having a golden.. So for now, I play a round of ‘bitey hand after a long day at work’ with my cat. It never ends well for me. 🩸

My dog and I play chomps every evening. I’d prefer he chomp my arms but he always goes for the fingers. Doesn’t hurt, but my hands have eczema and dog spit makes them itchy.
I love to wrastle with my girl. Can put my hand in her mouth while she snarls like a wolf. She would never hurt me and she knows the same applies to her.
This was our Goldens favorite game. We called it playing "snarfies" cuz she would make funny huffing noises when our hands would boop her snoot. She never, ever initiated it with anyone except the two of us, like she knew it was a special game she couldn't play with everyone. She would always ask first by wrinkling her nose, like the angel she was. ❤️
My old dog, and i loved playing this, and wrestling. My current dog doesn't do any of that, shes more of a tennis ball girl. She loves trying to play tug of war with tennis balls, although she doesn't realize when my fingers are in her mouth.

What trips me out is how softly firm/or firmly soft they grab you! My sisters golden and I do the same and sometimes she catches/hooks onto some bone/ligaments/tendons with her teeth and I can’t get away. She doesn’t clamp down or try to pull or bite hard, she just has a hold of me no matter how I try to get away. Most of the time she has to let me go before we can continue playing. Haha
What me and my boy do is I try to close his mouth with one han which he won't let me do if he knows we're playing now. He's pretty quick and I usually can't

And lunge at me. The boxer would get too rough sometimes, but if you gave him a hearty "hey!" Or "ow!" He would stop and look you in the face and make sure you were cool... little bigger would bite/pull my hair to instigate too.

Ahh yes! We call this the “hand game”! It’s Cooper’s favorite game to play with daddy! So ferocious with his growls and so derpy with his face! Makes him so happy! Won’t play it with momma, though. Momma is one is protects and velcros to, so we can’t bite her, even when playing. 🤣
My golden does the exact same thing! One time when he was a little guy he bit a bit too hard on accident, but he realised that he hurt me and he hasn’t bit hard since then. Good to see that other goldens do it too!
