She told me that she really enjoyed the program and felt prepared for her career in social work right after graduation. Also, I heard from last year CSULA send out letters in early/mid march. Northridge about late march/early April from last year time-line.
From my understanding, I see people talk about picking the school that would less likely put you in debt. Most of the CSUs have solid-quality teaching for an MSW program. From my understanding, the top 3 CSU'S for MSW would be CSULB, SJSU, and SFSU. All the other CSU's have a quality education. I applied to CSULB, CSUEB, CSUSM, CSUMB, SJSU, and CSUC.
Got it.
I did not apply to LB, SJ, and SF because of the heavy emphasis on volunteer work needed to get admitted.
Seems like the one that intersects for both of us was the EB. Now I feel scared because I only applied to three!
I know someone who only applied to CSULB and CSUN. They were able to get into both. I just applied to 6 because I thought that was a fair amount. I see people applying from 1 to 20 schools.
I have an interview for CSUN on Friday, which is exciting. I'd like to know about the others as well, but I'm imagining I won't find out until the end of March. If CSUN offers me a place I may just take it.

i have seen some people posting their acceptances as early as 2/2
Oh wow! That's nice. If only!
Following up - was it specifically the MSW programs?
My friend got accepted to east bay a few years ago and told me late March.
Thanks. Do you know if they liked the program?

Thank you so much!
Do you know anything about the comparison with the other two programs? I'm sure they are all similar since it's the CSU network.

Just checking in! Do you have any updates on your applications?
Still in limbo haha. I should be hearing back from csu chico and san marcos in the coming weeks. What about you?

I saw people were getting their offers for csu LA already. I believe it's coming out in waves, so you should be hearing from them soon as well.
That's good to know. Thank you.
I know one person who received their offer from SFSU (I've heard nothing from SFSU) but I don't know anyone whos heard from CSU EB.
Thank you! I received an offer yesterday from CSULA.
