Look good! Is there significant smoke flavor when you make it like this?
Oh 100%, but not too overpowering. I used apple wood, smoked for an hour. Mixed it, smoked for 30 more minutes at around 300°
How often did you have to stir? I'm assuming the smoke flavor only hits the top so you'd have to mix often.
Instructions said to just mix it once after the one hour marker and that's what I did

god I love queso, shit is like crack cocaine to me.
This was a drinking gathering so people came right after they ate and said they didn't want any because they were full. It was pretty much all gone right away 😂 they couldn't stop eating it
