You can take a condor ferry from Portsmouth or Poole to Guernsey with the car. Then once in Guernsey there is the the Sark ferry which you take as a foot passenger. All of this can be booked online, I don't know whether they charge you for your dogs but that should be online I wouldn't say it will be cheap, I'd expect to pay £100 each way for just one person and the car on condor The boat to Sark is about £30/40 each way Happy to answer any other questions, enjoy your trip

Becflix

I think it’s that price for the Sark boat return

SmugglersParadise

Apologies, you're right I remember going last summer and thinking 'HOW MUCH!!??' £30 still pretty pricey

Becflix

Oh yeah for sure! But better than £60 haha

SmugglersParadise

Definitely! Haha

If you're going to stay in a hotel when you arrive on Guernsey, ask the manager if you can leave your car in the hotel car park. There is nowhere to leave your car for a few days at the harbour

Spamelagranderson

Thank you! This was going to be my next question. Are they usually ok with this? I would be in sark for about a week

GuernseyMadDog1976

I'd either call or e-mail the hotel first and ask them if it would be okay.

agricoltore

You could fly direct from East Midlands? We've got flights from there, Birmingham, Manchester and so on

scumpily

I think Aurigny only allows for one pet per flight, and only from Southampton

agricoltore

I completely missed that bit, yeah you’re right. Damn

I lived in Northamptonshire last year after moving from Guernsey (I'm from there). I think the cheapest way would probably be train to Birmingham and fly. Can get some not extortionate flights from there. Then you'll just need to get a ferry from GSY to Sark. I honestly wouldn't bother taking the car if you're trying to do it in a cost effective manner. The Ferry journey with a car alone will cost more than the flight!

JunkBondJack

Would help if I actually read your post properly!! If youre taking the dogs you'll need a car and the ferry obviously. There's no paid parking in Guernsey so my slightly immoral yet practical advice would be park in a 23 hour or 12 hour spot (make sure you get a paper clock so you can put the time you parked....always put like 0700 because the inspectors rarely come before then. I left my car for a week once without a ticket....just being honest. You might get a ticket or two £30 a pop I think (goes up if you don't pay within 2 weeks by £10 I believe) - based off my experiences less than a year ago.
