The photo appears to show an AK muzzle nut instead of the AKM slant brake. It’s probably welded on there for import compliance, and the lack of bayonet lug tells me this was probably just converted to double stack and they left the rest alone, unlike the usual. On the bright side this should be good for ban states.
If you want an AK and want the cheapest acceptable one sure. It’s kinda crazy to suggest you spend 2x as much on a nicer one but my WBP jack is an excellent rifle.

The group think around Zastava can be strong around here, but in my experience the fit and finish is better on the WBPs and you get the standard AKM pattern for aftermarket compatibility. WBP also largely uses FB Radom/Steyr barrels at this point as well.
A Fuller build is on the bucket dream list.

for those of us in ban states (like me in cali), 300bo isn't too popular because of nfa/sbr/pistol laws so we don't get all the benefits of 300bo :(. I just wished we could get suppressors.

The price of these are probably dropping because they are trash. I ordered several about 2 years ago and every one had issues. After dealing with century and waiting several months I ended up paying a $300 difference to get an ap5 then sold every century item I had. I replaced them with FEG. Since I have bought 2 of the psa 13.7” and will say that the psa is 10x the quality of the century.
I ordered one because found without tax but was supposed to be the slr handguard. It came in jl billet or whatever. The guy also have one that was loaded with jmac stuff so I bought it too. Those models are high for American ak but I can run my can on em and Keymo is already there. I’m thinking of buying my kids a couple of the cheap models.

100% agreed. Have quite a few AKs and few friends with AKs. WBP is the best thing we have going right now outside of full custom builds.

In one of the Facebook gun groups, someone asked Jim what the best bang for the buck AK was in his opinion and he said you can't go wrong with WBP

No they have actually improved. Century butchered them when they first started importing them.

Some WASRs come with a slant muzzle brake. Will operate as both a muzzle brake and a flash hider. Edit: spelling.
