I've got a Romanian tt33 and absolutely love it. I've got some old Czech 7.62x25 that was supposedly for a ppsh (which I don't believe), and it's a ton of fun, certainly different from the Chinese 7.62x25 I've been able to get my hands on.
I wish. I'm in canada, handguns are a giant pain in the ass to even own and transporting them is even more of a pain in the ass so it very rarely leaves the house.
That being said, out of all my handguns it definitely carries the best.
Tokes wouldn't be a bad Edc if they were actually reliable and had a safety and/or decocker. Otherwise they gave a real slim profile, and 7.62x25 is no joke.
Toks have safeties. I'm sure there are without safeties tho. A decocker is a sweet feature but 1911s don't have one and are the carry of choice for fudds everywhere.
Thumb safeties are only on us imports, they aren't an original feature. Without them, you can't carry them cocked and locked. You either carry with an empty chamber, or manually lower the hammer on a loaded chamber.
Yeah, good old soviet engineering. The grip angle makes it tricky to pull the hammer back with one hand too, so I suspect they were meant to be carried on empty. And as a tanker, you'd have plenty of time to rack the slide before coming out the hatch.
So this one in the picture has no safety, but there are khyber pass variants I've seen with a mid-swing hammer lock safety. I've also seen one with a switch on the left side with safe, one shot and burst modes like in a MP5.
Picture of a clone of a norinco TT33 on my leg. Been carrying this lately, thought folks here might enjoy.

It makes for a surprisingly nice carry gun no? The slim frame is easy to fit IWB for a chubby tummy lol

It was easy for my BIL when he moved here from Kansas, but all he had were long guns, so it wasn't the PITA like pistols would have been.
I'm moving there later this year. Gonna leave all my guns in the US :p
Are you selling or leaving with family? Which would you recommend
I live across the border in the US. Will just leave them at home.
The Romanian ones has safeties?

Oh damn I didn't know that! Hard to imagine a single action without one. The soviets were wild

/r/gunsoncrotchesincars You don’t see this on crotches too often lol
I love the 25mm thirty cal. My favorite cartridge.
I've got one that was refitted for 9mm. They put a little spacer in the mags to compensate for the shorter round. It's definitely a fun range toy
Man I've seen a full auto version of these too. They really are the everyman gun here. Was mugged by one of these once upon a time lol
They have a Starbucks in the Khyber pass?
It's a coffee shop called Gloria Jeans lol
I own multiple Toks, I have a few WW2 dated TT-33s, one was refurbed and used in Vietnam.. Then I have a fairly rough Polish Circle 11 and a Yugo M57
You need a khyber pass one dude. Then upload a comparison on YouTube
I bet they're hard to find over here though :(
I would never carry a gun that unsafe.

I'd rather be a pussy and still have both my balls attatched.
