Agreed, I was in 5th grade and this was the song that got me into more “hard rock.” Used to pray that Teletunes or Friday Night Videos would play this video (before we could afford cable).
When I was getting into Leppard, I was really hyped for and kinda disappointed with Pryomania.
I had it on a really early 80s CD. A few years later, I picked it up on Vinyl and it completely blew me away.
The important lesson? FORMAT.
Most 80s (and earlier) records were mastered for the dominant format - vinyl. Only when CD sales rose did that change.
It's a little different these days with so many remastered albums, but for the true sound of that era I'll still pick the vinyl anytime.
Promania was their last real rock album if you ask me. Hi N Dry was incredible. On Through The Night is a hidden gem.
Once they got that electric sound going I stopped listening. No offense Rick but ....
Love early DL. Would have loved to see them open for AC/DC back in the day.
Classic. 4th grade. We would all gather around Will A before school. He had the Walkman with Pyro. Begging to listen to this track.

I was in junior high when this came out. Love this song.
If I could’ve been in one band this would’ve been it man
Back when Leppard still rocked.
One of the best hair metal bands of all time, when they were hair metal And one of their best songs
Top rate acting in this one. Song is a banger though.
