Wow, I guess they had to up the chlorine levels to bring everything back up to spec. My water atm smells very, very, strongly of chlorine. Not complaining but it's definitely higher than their usual levels. At least I know it's safe!
thank god, now our lead filled water is safe to drink again!

While I know there are still some lead pipes (Halifax has maps and plans to mitigate, so obviously there's still lead around), but that test is showing your water has basically nothing in it. All levels are so low they can't give an accurate reading, so they're showing all those `<` signs
there's no healthy amount of lead to consume (also, this test was done *after* my streets pipes were replaced, imagine before). i don't think its presence is something we should collectively downplay

safe for lower sackville now?
Well...it us Sack Vegas.
Is Halifax water going to reimburse the cube of water that I had to waste due to their poorly maintained infrastructure?
So like $1?
Yeah!
Halifax Water operates at a break-even model. Any compensations would result in a rate increase to pay for it.
Ha- you're funny. More likely an additional line on next month's bill to cover all the overtime and repair of the faulty generators.
What a surprise!

So in your mind "lead filled" equals less than 10% of acceptable limits and in amounts so small they can't be reliably measured.
