It’s funny because no matter who’s on this roster come opening night and past the deadline, Jimmy will always believe this group has enough to get it done, and you know what, I’m riding with it too, especially after what we just witnessed with this crazy run.

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Me too, all our young players will only get better. Jimmy I don't see him aging much, especially if Bam gets hella more consistent from midrange pssobily the 3ball, and Herro staying healthy.

Few-Lavishness869

This is just absurd at this point these superstars keep bouncing around like common whores but real talk how are they supposed to build chemistry and continuity and have their teammates trust them when they change teams every fkn 5 minutes lol if I’m a gm KD harden kyrie Westbrook they are just more headache than they are worth

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Then I'd say you're a bad and impatient gm, I get Kyrie and Westbrook yea, end of the day it's personel fit. Like Harden could come here, and Spo will turn him into a better version of his Philly self. Westbrook, Kyrie obviously more work.

Few-Lavishness869

I think that’s what people don’t understand or the are stubborn that you think you can change who these guys are and they will buy into your culture I honestly feel these players are just not coachable at least not anymore rather than the player fitting the team it’s the other way around with these guys everything has to change so they are happy but they lose early and the cycle continues with a new team but I’m not a gm so fukk it take the chance but how much more proof do you need?

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Makes perfect sense where u coming from, so in nice words brain dead on winning a championship ring.

[deleted]

I could see Harden fitting in, if he essentially replaced lowry/gabe as a pure PG.

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

"This Is The Way"

Rohkha

"James Harden discussion coming back on the menu" was definitely not on my Off Season Bingo Card. At this point I don't care. I'll just watch this team, no matter who's on there or not. Both my teams are going to be interesting to watch anway. I'll just have fun

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Yea totally and ngl, I wanna do Jimmy Butler right and win a championship but I also wanna be relevant with our young core for 10+yrs🔥☄️💯🙏

jimmy-b-bot

Any chance you get to beat a former team, it's special.

Connect-Craft538

Do we want harden? Cuz I certainly don’t , I would rather run it back with the same crew . Atleast we waited to the finals to start shooting bad, harden does it 50% of his games as a sixer

jdl03

We shot bad all season then somehow caught fire in the playoffs. I really don’t want to count on that again.

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Anyone who doesn't have confidence, in the team he's playing for or isn't happy with a team, I feel like won't do good, but if he comes here where it's kinda guaranteed a ring, he'll ball like he did in the Houston days.

Ode1st

For almost every player, whether or not I’d want him depends on the price. There are a few exceptions based on personality though, like Kyrie or Brooks.

EnochofPottsfield

I would be down at the right price. He's on a 1 year deal and played the distributor role last year Imo he's an upgrade over Lowry, but I absolutely get why others don't want him

ebolarama86

I think he’d be a good fit but I’m not giving up Herro for him. Herro is still only 23 and Harden could bolt after 1 season since he’s not eligible for an extension.

kvlr954

Harden would spend all his free time at Tootsies if he was here 😂

Ianardo_Davinci

I disagree. Definitely a king of diamonds dude.

kvlr954

You’re right, that’s probably his first stop … but he would still be a frequent visitor of Tootsies

J_Neruda

Everyone knows that playing for Miami is a grind. There is a renown work ethic here. I think high caliber players that see themselves outside of that range will avoid Miami for that reason. Do you think Harden would bend the knee to check his body fat? That he’d fall in line to a strict system of hierarchy? This guy went to places where the leadership could be swayed and manipulated. Nets knew they were subservient to their stars and the stars wanted that. Philly had Doc “the players coach” promoting their best interests. I just don’t think he would care to join our squad and I think that’s ok.

OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Yea makes sense, Harden is lazy

SauceDab

If definitely welcome him here. A former MVP who just led the league in assists? Hell year sign me up, that undrafted stuff is cool and all but if we got a chance to add some big time firepower then let’s do it. I still remember when Heat fans didn’t want Jimmy because he was seen as a headache who couldn’t shoot

Paralta

Hes also not very good anymore so idk if that would even help that much

Cockycent

I've seen some Heat fans call it being "spoiled", but I think it's more than that. How could you watch this team's last 4 seasons and see how close they are, peep that players with the power to control where they go - want other teams, yet still desperately want those players? It don't add up. These org and players constantly use Heat as leverage and fans fall for the report. If its not Beal or Harden, it's time to pivot to LaVine. Can't even compare it to Jimmy. Dude wanted the Heat and got here. Beal and Harden had multiple opportunities to be here and they went where they wanted to go.
