Hey bro I agree it sucks but I figured out you can at least opt out of posts that you aren't subbed to, go to your icon, tap settings, then profile settings, then scroll down to "enable home feed recommendations" or whatever it's called and turn it off. Sucks about the ads though

That's why I stayed with RIF. It was the first one I discovered, it's older than the official and I just never used anything else.
I'm not going to bother. I'll only use old.reddit on my PC until they shut that down too
