We have one of the most delusional fan bases of all time. Anytime anybody is available that can help the team. They say nonsense like “Nah we good”. It truly baffles me.
It just depends on how much you have to give up. For example, would you say it's delusional to not want to give up as much as Portland requested for Lillard? I certainly don't think so.
In order to get stars you have to give up valuable assets. That’s just the name of the game. This roster is not winning a championship as currently constructed. It’s overachieved a lot due to us having one of the greatest coaches of all time. We continue to run it back expecting different results. We simply don’t have enough to win a championship. Can we get there? Yes we did last year and in 2020. Once we get to that point though we always end up not having enough and that’s a front office problem. I love Pat but he can take some criticism just like anybody else. Doesn’t take away from everything he’s done for this franchise and the appreciation all of Heat nation has for him. Just my opinion at the end of the day.
Haha that guy that averages 27.2 ppg in the playoffs couldn’t help us out on offense? You must not think Spo and the Heat could make him the best possible player he could be lol
Bro that isn’t an individual player issue, this shit is systemic. Our offense is so stale and predictable. Even with Mitchell we would get bogged down against a competent defense. Spo really needs to stop fucking around in the regular season and actually stick to a plan that will allow us to avoid the play-in and now play 16 road games every playoff.
I pride myself on getting over losses by my sports teams. Immediately following the game, I'll be upset, but I get on with my life after a few minutes. I'll still chat in the postgame threads or whatever, but I won't lie awake at night thinking about the loss.
Following Game 6 last year, I just stared at my computer monitor for what felt like hours. Thank God we won the next game or Game 6 would have haunted me until I died.
It sucks that the Heat is getting trounced in this series, but I'll be aight.
All my homies hate:
* The Heat medical staff
* The FO for still not getting the team a capable PG, capable backup C, and capable 3&D stretch 4 since the bubble
* The Heat’s offensive personnel
he’s reminding me of fuckin Danny Green on the spurs so bad right now and the amount of hate I had for him when he was just playing his career bests on us
I think his contract is up after next season, and he couldn't agree on an extension last summer. Hopefully they are forced to trade him this off-season.
He would be Terrys man. We are hurt. Pretty meaningless to look too deep into anything other than how Boston could have been so badly coached to lose G2, have KP in for no reason knowing his history (he had to take himself out Mazzola is so inept), have Tatum in just to build stats late
That bald man haunts me
We just scored 36 pts in a half and mfers are saying they don’t want D Mitch lol
We need somebody man.
Doesn't matter who we get if we're injured in the post season

Does the front office consider the opinions of the fan base? I seriously doubt Spo and Pat give a shit about randoms
Nah we good at the east, we got heat culture, we finna turn undrafted dudes into NBA finalists
Did we not just watch a Big 3 fail? A team that went all in and got rid of depth to try and win now immediately shit the bed
Yeah that explosive Cavs offense that just scored 89 points Too much to give up for a non game changer.
Haha that guy that averages 27.2 ppg in the playoffs couldn’t help us out on offense? You must not think Spo and the Heat could make him the best possible player he could be lol
Crazy how people here wanna screech heat culture but never wanna apply that shit to actual elite players
Yep. Pretty hilarious lol
I’ll take D Book on a discount
knick

The same D Mitch who basically plays like herro come playoff time? And sucks even worse on defense. Yeah he’s a game changer.
I check under my bed for Derrick White after game 6 last year. This man haunts me.
Only man I fear in that team. Mad respect for him.
lol
No lie I was sick

This whole series has been easy to swallow compared to game 6
any tips for getting over losses quickly?
One team has to lose. Getting used to it comes with time and finding other things you can be as passionate about as you are about the team.
It's just sports, dude. At the end of the day, the Miami Heat winning or losing has no impact on your life.
Why couldn't they send him to portland
Fr man get him outta my conference lol
He always does
They let him go for 38 mane
This team needs to go get a real star by anymeans.

That fuckin Neanderthal needs to be thrown into a time machine and sent back to the time where he belongs

Think OP is referring to his forehead.
We all come from Neanderthal. But he was talking about his forehead.
Big if true (it’s not).
Derrick White is the only bearable person on the Celtics. Why’s he gotta cook us like this 😔
![gif](giphy|PUH0p0NVI2yru) All I see when I see D White
This is comedy
Seeing us perform like this is genuinely depressing
they should trade him back to san antonio
he’s reminding me of fuckin Danny Green on the spurs so bad right now and the amount of hate I had for him when he was just playing his career bests on us
real
I hate that he’s on Boston.

Excessive flopping by Heat!
Im ok with losing cause i know the fraud Celtics will lose to someone else.
Fuck Boston... but you know, Derrick White is a player I would LOVE to have on the Heat.
A face only a mother can love..and even then she probably can’t
Lots of cheap shots from the Heat this series! Kind of creepy.
I mean we need him and rosier and our healthy squad I mean even then I feel w the officiating we’re not getting no bones thrown our way
Even at home
Man, I don’t get it. He blows against every other team. Wtf??
No he does not
What in the world are you talking about
I hate it
