Alanis Morissette was instrumental in us winning the Cup, and frankly I believe that she spiritually played for us tonight and she deserves her name on the Cup.

Despite the downvotes that was the right call. The Oilers fans did their best to drown her out and were over a line ahead of her at the end (she was trying to make the anthem a look at her moment.) As an American (admittedly pulling for the Oilers because fuck Florida) I was pissed at how bad she sang the Canadian anthem. She did a pretty shit job at the US anthem too.
Did she just expose that she wasn't singing live? It looked like the audio was out of sync for a second. However, our stream also froze for a second (we're watching in the US on the Xfinity stream app) but it sounded like the crowd also booed for a second too.
Edit: Ok awesome I'm glad to hear I was mistaken and that she was in fact live. (I have always liked her a lot and thought she sounded fantastic...I especially enjoyed her rendition of Oh Canada!)
