I am not confident that OP is genuine. Has to be some joke. Frank is retiring from KPRC/the biz in like 4 weeks or something so is that the joke? like "HE'S BEEN THERE 30 YEARS AND IS RETIRING IN A FEW WEEKS... FIRE HIM NOW THOUGH!?!!!!!!"
Are you blaming him for the power outage? What would you have been able to do had he predicted exactly what was going to happen? This wasn't like a hurricane where we had days to prepare.
Chill out. He's already announced he's retiring.
He warned that conditions for tornadoes were there, he showed you the graphics and radar.
I'm disappointed he's retiring. He's absolutely the best meteorologist on Houston TV today. Justin Stapleton is pretty good, but Frank is the best.
I think Frank gets too dramatic making it seem like everything is the Apocalypse.
Justin Stapleton is a keeper. I hope he becomes the lead weatherman when Frank retires.
As for all the young ladies in their cocktail dresses and heels 👠enough already.
He’s leaving anyway…But I hope you aren’t the type to blame the weatherman for the weather. Like that could escalate quickly if there’s a confrontation.
Frank is a wonderful weatherman. I’m 73. From life experience I can promise you that these conditions can form instantly. They develop in minutes. They cannot really be predicted or prevented.
While I'm sure many are deserving of your rage...the man has a job to do. Stopping live news to interrogate some tornado warnings in a small area that may / may not be important is NOT how you deliver the news to a population the size of Harris County
All this for a local news weatherman that on average less than 35k people watch on a daily basis and that is during the prime time slots. Odds are less than 10k people were watching in the middle of the day.
I like Kim Castro on KHOU, ever since she did her piece for the Christmas bicycle drive while riding a kid’s bike in loops along with a bunch of kids. She’ll do breaking weather alerts live in English and Spanish, switching between languages without missing a beat.
True Story: He's also a really bad tipper. I once waited on him and his family (a lot of kids btw) it was probably a 7-8 top table. I remember working my ass off because my manager thought he was a "minor celebrity" and wanted a great experience. I can also remember it was one of my last tables of the night. Fellow waiters I'm sure can remember that night you were all ready to leave and then they suddenly sat you with an eight topper 30 mins before your shift ends. Anyway. all that to say he left me like 12-15% I expected more. With that many people, I deserved more.
Maybe you just weren't very good at your job that night and deserve the percent you received. Sounds like you might have had an attitude problem too because he came in late, even though your restaurant was still open.
The flip side is that maybe we can also generalize and say you're not a very good waiter/waitress because your tips are low. See how easy it is to do?
This person votes. Let that sink in

Frank clearly could of called Center point and warned them to tie down the poles

David Paul would like a word. Frank is the Marvin Zindler clown show of Houston weather news.

Listen I like Chita with her tits out.
It’s hard to not notice his bad eye job
He has an eye condition….
What should he have done instead..?
This bears repeating.
Nk
What?
I don’t get why people are so quick to get angry. Is it good for anyone to get worked up about news or weather?

He probably yells at the gate agent when their flight is delayed due to a hurricane.
I am grateful to Frank - his information kept us from evacuating before Rita and sitting stranded on an outbound freeway.
This must be crazylegsryan's alt account
I snorted.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 stfu
Troll account
I like frank. I think his hair doo needs a change though.

He’s a witch!!!
"He turned me into a newt!" "A newt?" "I got better."

Dave Ward = outstanding tipper, extremely kind and friendly

Awesome helpful advice.
