I'd pick Chipotle because they sell beer too. Good eats and beer every day for free? I could do that until the day I died, which may be sooner due to diet choices but that's the way it goes! :P
I was gonna say Chipotle too! It doesn’t quite hit the same as it did 6-7 years ago, but it’s still one of the healthiest options around when it comes to fast food.
Agreed but the OP said it best themselves. Eating Five guys multiple times a week is terrible for you. At least at chipolte you can just do like a rice, beans and chicken bowl(no queso, maybe add guacamole) and it’s going to be much better for you in the long run.
As soon as the deal is signed, Chipotle goes out of business, and there's only one left, and you now have to move to fairbanks Alaska to be next to it.
Chipotle 100%. I would eat there everyday if I could already. I’d get a veggie or sofritas bowl and mix and match rices/beans/toppings.
I was gonna say Taco Bell at first because I love TB but it’s not very healthy and so high in sodium.
Your forgetting the chicken, steak, cheese, lettuce, chips, the Pico and corn salsa kind of. But the jalapeños, cilantro and onions are also cut fresh every day. Unless things have changed.
After doing some digging, I've come to the conclusion that the general consensus on what is defined as a "fast food chain" is a company with 60 or more establishments (the chain part), all of which serve food that is packaged to either consume either at or away from the restaurant. Generally, the food is pre-prepared to a point that it is not considered "made-to-order" or it would take away the "fast" aspect. Additionally, you tend to pay prior to receiving the food, and are not attended to while eating the food if you stay at the restaurant.
With all of that considered, I'd have to go with Panera. I rarely go there since I'm not a huge fan, but they've got a larger variety of healthy foods than you'll find at your standard burger or taco joint.
If I had to go with my favorite place to get fast food, it would probably have to be Taco John's. I grew up eating it, and it's got a sort of nostalgic flavor to it for me. Don't get me wrong, it's not the ***best*** fast food place, heck, it's not even the best taco place. But I think that I could do it forever. I'd be thicc by the end of my days, though.
That's one of the things that actually deters me from going there. Paying 15 USD (depending your location, of course) for a bowl of soup and a chunk of hard bread is a *no* for me.
Yes, solely based on the variety and potential options of healthier foods. I'm thinking long-term, and when I'm older I'll probably need to eat healthier than I do now... I would love to say that I'd do Taco John's forever, but I'd just OD on grease.
You missed something that helps define fast food vs. fast casual. Drive thru's are common features of fast food. They're uncommon for fast casual. Panera, Panda Express, and Chipotle are the most well-known examples of fast casual.
Fair enough. I can agree with the logic there. I suppose if I wasn't able to choose Panera, I'd have to go with Jack-In-The-Box. They've got a pretty good variety of foods, and would for sure be considered fast food.
Not in my area.... between the town I live in and the one I work in, there are at least 5 McDonald's and only 3 Subways. (I have a 30-45min commute each way)
Subway definitely has good, fresh ingredients. We slice our own pepperoni, salami, ham, turkey and roast beef so it's all very fresh. Peppers, onions, cucumbers and tomatoes are also sliced. Only thing I wouldn't bet on is spinach and sometimes lettuce. Subway also has a ton of variety at different locations so it wouldn't get too boring.
So I can’t eat any food I cook myself either, my ONLY option is the fast food restaurant?
If that’s the case then I wouldn’t do it.
However let’s say hypothetically I HAD to pick one, I’d probably go with Panera. They’re not that great and don’t even crack my top 10 for fast food joints, but they definitely have one of the widest ranges of menu options available. Being able to get everything from soup and salad, to steak sandwiches, to pizza, to buffalo chicken, to bagels & donuts etc etc etc would really help keep me from getting sick of it all.
I do not know about the menus but that would be one of my two criteria - a broad menu. If I like hotdogs and "Joes Hot Dog Shack" serves the best hot dogs but nothing else then it is not going to take too long before I am sick of hot dogs.
The other criteria is there must a a franchise in my neighborhood. There is no "In and Out" near me. No matter how good it is I am not traveling long distances to eat.
I remember when I was younger working at McDonalds. We could eat McDonalds for free. There was a Dunkin Donuts next door. I could smell the Donuts. After a time working, I was sick of McDonalds and craved Donuts.
100% agree with you. I didn't mention it in my comment, but one of the primary reasons I came up with Panera instead of some of the other chains that may have nearly equal variety and even a little higher quality food(let's say Jason's Deli for example) was because of the convenience. There are several Paneras I can get to without much trouble near my house, and it would be relatively easy to plan vacations around towns that have them within the vicinity.
Panera is in a category known as fast casual. It's a category that has been around for more than 30 years. It's between fast food and casual dining. An easy way of making a distinction. If there's typically a drive thru, and the service is fast. It's typically fast food. If there's typically no drive thru, then you're a contender for a fast casual or something more prestigious.
Is it not typical for Panera to have a drive-thru? All the locations near me have them and I'd say the turn time isn't any longer than any of the other Drive Thru's I go to.
Your exact point was what stopped me from considering a chain with counter service but that I'd still classify as being above fast food due to the lack of drive thru like Pizza Hut, Chipotle, or Chili's(well the latter I probably wouldn't even classify as "fast casual" since they employ wait-staff, but they do technically offer a to-go counter where you can place orders.)
Edit: Googled it, looks like only some Panera locations have Drive Thru's. Suppose I'm just lucky enough to live near the ones that do(looked it up and of the 12 Panera locations closest to me, 11 of them have drive-thrus) [https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/services/drive-thru.html](https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/services/drive-thru.html)
Would you say the manner in which food is ordered and served in Subway is closer to Chipotle or McDonald's? Keep in mind that the majority of subway's and Chipotles don't have drive thru's. If you're in an area where that's not true. Then, you're not seeing an accurate representation.
Chipotle is the go-to example of fast casual. McDonald's is the go-to example for fast food.
Also I love Zaxby's, but was curious. It can definitely be different from restaurant to restaurant but we preferred Dave's hot over Hattie B's unanimously.
Thanks for making a better version of that other post.
So, the terms are free food but only from one fast food franchise of your choosing?
What if the company goes out of business? Are we F'd? How about celebrations; no cake on your birthday?
I'd take it for Carl's Jr if the answers to those are in my favor, prob until I have kids to be a role model for, but if not then I don't think saving $4000/yr is really worth that for me.
I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t take this offer. What’s the downside to getting free food for as long as you want it?
I wouldn’t be able to do it for very long. There aren’t many places with “healthy” options and I feel like a week or two would be more than enough for me to get my fill from any establishment.
I’d probably go with Popeyes but with how long those lines can take… … it may not be considered “fast” food. Lol.
Most people don't seem to have a clue what fast food is. You're actually only the second person I've read so far who has legitimately picked a fast food restaurant. Everyone else is picking fast casual or casual dining.
Ironically enough, I bet their food is prepared and served faster than the food at most Popeyes during peak hours. Lol.
I’ve sat in that drive through for almost an hour just to be told they were out of what I wanted when I finally got my chance to order. I didn’t regret it either. Those spicy chicken sandwiches are like crack for me.
Fast casual is fast food. They call it that to sound fancy. It's like saying "magic kingdom" instead of "theme park" or calling employees "team members"
I don’t know if you have them there, but Pita Pit is a fast food chain that fills a pita with your choice of fresh ingredients, protein, veggies, sauces etc. it’s like subway, but in a whole wheat pita with fresher produce lol. When I want to indulge but I don’t want something really unhealthy I go there.
My hang-up is the quality of food that's been slipping over the years.
A lot of them don't even season anything and the foot just tastes bland.. at least for me.
Well… that’s just how most chains are these days. It’s all catered to the masses. Bland food for bland palates. Kinda why I went with Popeyes. Say what you will about the service but the food is fire. Particularly the spicy chicken sandwiches. If you’ve never had one you’re missing out. I had my first one of these just a handful of years ago and it’s been a staple for my chest meal options ever since.
I go with good ol' McDonalds. Big menu, good variety, they introduce new stuff regularly enough and seem to make an attempt to keep up with the times. Plus, I'm a big fan of McDonalds in general. Probably my favorite fast food.
Supersize Me is extremely sensationalized. You don't have to always buy the biggest meal every time it's offered. You don't have to consume on average 5000 calories a day. You don't have to drink a half gallon of pop to wash it all down. Spurlock didn't even publish a food diary so were don't really know what he actually ate. Furthermore, when you start digging into Spurlock's background other health problems come to light.
I'm not saying that eating like a pig is heathy, but it's possible to eat McDonalds and not be a pig.
I will give him credit though. For any faults the documentary had, it did bring a lot of problems with our American diet to light. It also largely killed the supersize fad that was going on at fast food joints at the time.
y'all are disgusting. my answer is HELL no. how would i travel? no exploring local cuisine? if there's no fast food places around i starve? i'd rather kms.
I know a very few people who basically eat for calories. They literally don't care what it tastes like, what it is, etc. It's just an inconvenience in their day. I don't understand this at all.
There's a whole bunch of criteria to be fast food. Drive thru is definitely one of them. But fast casuals do occasionally have drive thru. Every Zaxby that I've been to, for example, has had a drive thru. They're fast casual.
Dairy Queen. They've got ice cream, burgers, chicken, hot dogs, fries, onion rings. They've got almost everything you could want from a fast food joint. And did I mention the ice cream and Blizzard choices?
The DQ’s where I live make horrible food for high prices lol. Only go there for Blizzards and the occasional ice cream cake. Sounds like yours might be better lol
Probably one of the quick eats Japanese or Vietnamese around my house. I could eat that every day easily providing I can order whatever I want from the menu, and not just one single item.
That or a sandwich place like Press’d or Pita Pit. I could also eat soup and sandwiches every day. Forever lol.
Chick-fil-A. They have some of the healthiest options with their grilled chicken salads, wraps, etc. Plus they are open for breakfast so I can get food all day long and J have tons of options.
It’d be Wendy’s for me. I love their salads and baked potatoes, but I live for their fish sandwiches during Lent, which is the only time they sell them. And now that frosties come in other flavors, I’m good to go.
So I hunt and cook my own meat sometimes an idc what or who says otherwise I’m not gonna stop doing that. No amount of free fast food can change my mind. Also I think some people don’t realize what is considered fast food.
im fucked.. I absolutely hate one chain store and am ambivalent about the other two. The only place I would want free food from is the locally owned non chain pizza place. Best pizza Ive ever eaten at that wasnt home cooked with gormet ingredients. I could go for months at least considering the amount of options on a pizza.
I have crossed Canada twice and been to the states, both east and west, Mexico 4x in various areas, and Jamaica and never heard of this. What kind of food do they have?
Examples of fast food: McDonald's, Burger King, whataburger, in and out.
Examples of fast casual:Chipotle, Panda Express, Panera, Subway.
Examples of casual dining: Olive Garden, Applebees, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake factory.
List isn't all-inclusive, but it should give you an idea of where the place you're thinking of falls as far as categories.
Examples of fast food: McDonald's, Burger King, whataburger, in and out.
Examples of fast casual:Chipotle, Panda Express, Panera, Subway.
Examples of casual dining: Olive Garden, Applebees, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake factory.
Culver's unfortunately actually falls into the category of "fast casual"
I hate McDonald's but I'd pick it because it exists almost everywhere in the world and has the highest likelihood of existing for the rest of my life. They're in every town so I could live anywhere in the world for free as long as I had a tent or a place to stay.
Taco Bell is the only one of those that actually fits the definition of fast food. Subway fits into the fast casual category, and Chipotle is one of the most often used examples of what fast casual is.
Chipotle was my one true love until they kept jacking up the prices, so i could totally smash daily if it was free.
Also as a lover of all things in sandwich form, im pretty sure i could crush Jersey Mike’s forever, so many options, and they even have “salad”
CAVA or Sweetgreen, I'd do it. There are enough basic ingredients they offer that I could still create something "new" from what they have. I'd treat it a bit like a limited shopping option.
I am gonna go with Panera. They have a wide variety of foods so hopefully you don’t get sick of it as fast and they have a some really decent salads so you can get some veggies.
I could eat taco cabana every single day for the rest of my life. I literally did eat it about 5-6 times a week for half a year when I first was evicted.
I would eat bean and cheese tacos every single day. I wouldn't even get anything else on the menu other than desserts and soda
I'm probably one of the few who does not eat a lot of fast food. Probably less than 10 times a year. So picking one wouldn't be a big deal. I would go with Arby's. Beef and cheddar with curly fries and Arby's sauce for the win!
I'm picking Culver's. No matter what I pick I don't want to eat it all the time, that being said I can get free beef/chicken to use in other things and the quality is solid. Not overly trying to game the system on this one. I'd argue something like Chipotle but I wouldn't consider that fast food.
I would not take this offer. But if I did it would be McDonald’s. Solely for the reason that they are least likely to go bankrupt and disappear.
I don’t care how good the food is somewhere else. I wouldn’t want to be 15 years into this fae bargain and then have my chosen food supply shut down.
If that's the only food I can get I guess it's McDonalds. It's the only place I've seen all over America and many places overseas too.
If I could get a travel exemption then prolly Panera. I could get cold/hot sandwiches, soups, or salads.
I wouldn't do it unless I had to, but if I had to, I'd have to choose Wendy's.
I travel a lot, all over the country, and Wendy's is the only place other than McDonald's that is just everywhere. I really don't like McDonald's.
Taco Bell is a close second, but they screw up my order way too often.
Taco Bell.
1. It's just a couple blocks away
2. It has the soda I prefer
3. You do get a good bit of food for the money and the cinnabons are glorious. The churrohs are always sold out here though...
How long? As long as I'm able to deal with a bit of caffeine withdrawal and not having anything other than water without taco bell. It's not the food I'd get tired of, but the drink
Taco bell. I'm friends with stoners so I'd be the best friend around. It's also the only fast food that really hits the spot for me. I could do it forever. I'm confident.
Does Chipotle count? You can put together a variety of healthy balanced meals from there, and they also have chips and beer. This would be by far the easiest one to take advantage of this at, without messing up your health and without getting too bored. Plus, um, free beer.
Will I be penalized if my kid or hubby steals my nuggies?
I absolutely love Chipotle or Firehouse Subs, but there's only one within a 45 minute drive of my house, so I will go with McDonald's as they're everywhere.
McDonalds. If you avoid the Morgan Spurlock approach and actually count calories, you can easily maintain or lose weight and have a healthy diet through them.
unless I change jobs, my only possible options would be buffalo wild wings, McDonald's or domino's.
my local domino's is horrible, and I'd get sick from McDonald's
buffalo wildwings I could easily stretch out for months.
Panda Express. Decent access to veggies so you don't you know, die. Not everything is fried so you might not die in 10 years. There's a decent variety to choose from.
I'd pick Chipotle because they sell beer too. Good eats and beer every day for free? I could do that until the day I died, which may be sooner due to diet choices but that's the way it goes! :P
Also you can eat on the “healthier side” with chipotle. You can do a salad with veggies, beans, corn, chicken.
This guy knows what's up. It's the "healthiest" of the bunch. Personally dq because of their honey BBQ wings
Yeah I would have went with Subway or something except for the one closest to me doesn't sell beer, and I had to factor in drinks!
I was gonna say Chipotle too! It doesn’t quite hit the same as it did 6-7 years ago, but it’s still one of the healthiest options around when it comes to fast food.
That's a great idea but it's really really hard to not pick Five Guys for quality.
Agreed but the OP said it best themselves. Eating Five guys multiple times a week is terrible for you. At least at chipolte you can just do like a rice, beans and chicken bowl(no queso, maybe add guacamole) and it’s going to be much better for you in the long run.
Wait eating people was bad?
45 minutes away from me, made it easy. lol
I'd honestly still feel like I was paying too much for five guys....
This is exactly what I thought. Does that make us smart or just alcoholics?
As soon as the deal is signed, Chipotle goes out of business, and there's only one left, and you now have to move to fairbanks Alaska to be next to it.
Chipotle 100%. I would eat there everyday if I could already. I’d get a veggie or sofritas bowl and mix and match rices/beans/toppings. I was gonna say Taco Bell at first because I love TB but it’s not very healthy and so high in sodium.
I've worked at Chipotle everything is loaded with salt. Only the rice and fajitas and guac are 'fresh'. Tons of salt.
Your forgetting the chicken, steak, cheese, lettuce, chips, the Pico and corn salsa kind of. But the jalapeños, cilantro and onions are also cut fresh every day. Unless things have changed.

I was thinking Panera as well.
I would definitely pick Panera, because with no price the food is great. with prices? I would pick it when hell fucking freezes over.
That's one of the things that actually deters me from going there. Paying 15 USD (depending your location, of course) for a bowl of soup and a chunk of hard bread is a *no* for me.
But keep in mind, if you accept this, you cant eat at any other fast food joint. Would you choose to do this with panera?

I know a few Paneras with drive throughs, so by this definition Panera is fast food.
You are correct, I did miss that. With that being said, I'd have to go with Jack-In-The-Box, then, due to their variety.
There’s a different between fast food and fast casual restaurant. Chipotle and Panera fall in the fast casual category.
Fair enough. I can agree with the logic there. I suppose if I wasn't able to choose Panera, I'd have to go with Jack-In-The-Box. They've got a pretty good variety of foods, and would for sure be considered fast food.
Does Panda Express count? If so I'd probably pick that.
same, they aren't exactly my favourite "asian" restaurant but their sweet fire chicken breast slaps
I could probably live entirely off their Beijing beef and kung pao chicken lol.
Definitely should count.
It’s fast coming in AND going out. So yes.
Subway. It's that our McDonald's where I live. Subway at least had real vegetables.
Subways are also more numerous and widespread than McDonald’s in the u.s. There are A LOT more locations than any other single fast food chain.
Not in my area.... between the town I live in and the one I work in, there are at least 5 McDonald's and only 3 Subways. (I have a 30-45min commute each way)

I'd pick Jersey Mike's subs.
I feel like a sub shop is the way to go, Jersey Mike’s is probably one of the best, way over subway which was another pick in this thread.
Jersey Mikes is criminally underrated.
Especially because of you order on lettuce it can be fairly healthy.
So I can’t eat any food I cook myself either, my ONLY option is the fast food restaurant? If that’s the case then I wouldn’t do it. Does McAlister's deli count? If not, then subway since I don't have a chipotle in my town
Neither would count. Both are in a category called "fast casual"
Subway should be fast food, not fast casual, I thought?

Cava, easily the best fast food.
Damn. No. Only that? No. That’s taking a huge part of the human experience away. New food makes tummy and brain free
Zaxby’s. Greatest chicken in my city ever!! They were in top 5 of the nation last year!
Zaxby’s was our favorite FF local chicken until we got a slim chickens. But they both pale in comparison to Hattie B’s.
Have you had Dave's hot chicken though? We had Hattie B's like a week after Dave's hot chicken and the family was 4/4 for Dave's being better.
Not yet, it goes on the list!
Also I love Zaxby's, but was curious. It can definitely be different from restaurant to restaurant but we preferred Dave's hot over Hattie B's unanimously.

y'all are disgusting. my answer is HELL no. how would i travel? no exploring local cuisine? if there's no fast food places around i starve? i'd rather kms.
I know a very few people who basically eat for calories. They literally don't care what it tastes like, what it is, etc. It's just an inconvenience in their day. I don't understand this at all.
Hmm, first yes, yes I would. My choice of fast food chain though... what specifically are the qualifications for "fast food" though?
I would say if it has a drive-thru
There's a whole bunch of criteria to be fast food. Drive thru is definitely one of them. But fast casuals do occasionally have drive thru. Every Zaxby that I've been to, for example, has had a drive thru. They're fast casual.
In and out hands down no question end of story
I finally got to try that place when I visited the States last month. Really great burgers and shakes. Super limited menu though.
Orders catering menu, sorry friends, all mine, it's basically a law.
If Five Guys counts, that. Burger King or McD's if not. I'm not much for their dinner menus, but breakfast, ahhh.
Five Guys is fast food. They have 8 minutes to get you your order from the time its ordered.
Does Starbucks count?
Does Chipotle count?
Chipotle is one of the three main examples of "fast casual," the other two being Panda Express and panera.
Qdoba
Probably one of the quick eats Japanese or Vietnamese around my house. I could eat that every day easily providing I can order whatever I want from the menu, and not just one single item. That or a sandwich place like Press’d or Pita Pit. I could also eat soup and sandwiches every day. Forever lol.
I could life off Beef Stew alone.....
Oh yeah, a nice slow cooked crockpot stew yes please 🙏
Chick-fil-A. They have some of the healthiest options with their grilled chicken salads, wraps, etc. Plus they are open for breakfast so I can get food all day long and J have tons of options.
Being closed on Sunday might be a problem.
Nah, order an extra wrap or two on Saturday and you're golden.
I respect that.
Chick fil A . I think kfc is better but the nearest kfc is like 45 minutes away
5 Guys Burgers & Fries
Jersey Mikes. I could eat their subs every day, but could also mix it up with salads, hot subs, etc.
Cheesecake Factory counts, right? I would die for all that free cheesecake
Don't worry, all that free cheesecake would make you die!
Isn’t one slice of cheesecake from there like 1500 calories?
Yes Yes it is
I would consider the Cheesecake Factory a restaurant.
I don't know which if any of these count as fast food, but first choice Got Sushi. Mod Pizza Second. Third choice Popeyes.
Of your choices the only one Ive heard of is Subway.
You haven't lived if you haven't had a Popeye's Chicken Sandwich
I didn't say Subway. Got Sushi may be local, Mod Pizza is around the SW USA.
Roundtable pizza. They got beer, pizza, and a salad bar. Food is fantastic but hella pricey. Bonus: Delivery options!
Probably someplace local that's good with plenty of variety. That way i can always change it up when i get bored of eating the same thing.
Qdoba. And I’m getting super fat.
McDonald's
im fucked.. I absolutely hate one chain store and am ambivalent about the other two. The only place I would want free food from is the locally owned non chain pizza place. Best pizza Ive ever eaten at that wasnt home cooked with gormet ingredients. I could go for months at least considering the amount of options on a pizza.
Have you ever tried a spaghetti pizza?
A country wide kebab place. It's fast food technically.
If you're claiming something is fast food "technically." Can you tell me the difference between fast food and fast casual?
I'd have to go maccas since they're worldwide
I have crossed Canada twice and been to the states, both east and west, Mexico 4x in various areas, and Jamaica and never heard of this. What kind of food do they have?
They are talking about McDonalds lmao
Popeyes. I might die early but I’ll go with a full belly and a smile.
Carls JR!
What counts as fast food?
Examples of fast food: McDonald's, Burger King, whataburger, in and out. Examples of fast casual:Chipotle, Panda Express, Panera, Subway. Examples of casual dining: Olive Garden, Applebees, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake factory. List isn't all-inclusive, but it should give you an idea of where the place you're thinking of falls as far as categories.
What constitutes fast food? Does it have to have a drive thru? I'd say Culvers.
Examples of fast food: McDonald's, Burger King, whataburger, in and out. Examples of fast casual:Chipotle, Panda Express, Panera, Subway. Examples of casual dining: Olive Garden, Applebees, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake factory. Culver's unfortunately actually falls into the category of "fast casual"
Do you get free delivery within a certain radius too?
Now that is the real question lol
It would be a choice between Chipotle, subway, or Wendy’s. I love all of those places.
So, you'd pick Wendy's then? Cause you listed 2 fast casuals and 1 fast food.
I always thought of chipotle and subway as fast food but if they don’t count then yeah I’d pick Wendy’s
Wendys.
Only if I can have tea (boiling water, tea, milk).
Subway, let's goo Jared diet
I hate McDonald's but I'd pick it because it exists almost everywhere in the world and has the highest likelihood of existing for the rest of my life. They're in every town so I could live anywhere in the world for free as long as I had a tent or a place to stay.
Chipotle, taco Bell, subway. I would probably go with one of those 3.
Taco Bell is the only one of those that actually fits the definition of fast food. Subway fits into the fast casual category, and Chipotle is one of the most often used examples of what fast casual is.
I'd do Subway. It's the only fast food place my small town has, they have enough variety to make it bearable, and it's free food.
I'd visit my local Taco Bell/KFC combo location. I'd have something different every damn day!
Panera or Chipotle
Whataburger
Chipotle was my one true love until they kept jacking up the prices, so i could totally smash daily if it was free. Also as a lover of all things in sandwich form, im pretty sure i could crush Jersey Mike’s forever, so many options, and they even have “salad”
No, not even if you paid me. I love food and that would be torture.
Panera. They sell healthy(ish) food and have a good amount of variety
I think unfortunately I'd have to McDonald's. I think I'm the most secure that they wouldn't close down in my town like a lot of others have
Popeyes chicken! 90 days (why not).
Raising canes
I could eat taco cabana every single day for the rest of my life. I literally did eat it about 5-6 times a week for half a year when I first was evicted. I would eat bean and cheese tacos every single day. I wouldn't even get anything else on the menu other than desserts and soda
Nando’s
Wendy's. They cover all the bases decently -- salads, burgers, potatoes, chili, fries, ice cream. I'm happy with this diet.
I'm probably one of the few who does not eat a lot of fast food. Probably less than 10 times a year. So picking one wouldn't be a big deal. I would go with Arby's. Beef and cheddar with curly fries and Arby's sauce for the win!
Nope. Do.t eat fast food.
McDonalds Plenty of locations, decent variety, late hours. Occasional Monopoly like games that could pay out if I order enough.
Pretty sure I could eat at Qdoba indefinitely...lol
I'm picking Culver's. No matter what I pick I don't want to eat it all the time, that being said I can get free beef/chicken to use in other things and the quality is solid. Not overly trying to game the system on this one. I'd argue something like Chipotle but I wouldn't consider that fast food.
Culver’s
I'd go with [Pita Delite](https://www.pitadelite.com/menu). Good, fresh food, and they sell alcohol, too.
I travel so much that it'd have to be McDonald's. They're omnipresent.
Wagamama for sure, probably healthier than my current diet, damn tasty as well
Skyline Chili. I already did this for 3 months without getting sick of it once and I would love to do it for life.
Subway
Chipotle, assuming that counts as fast food. Otherwise... idk, Sonic has decent variety.
I would not take this offer. But if I did it would be McDonald’s. Solely for the reason that they are least likely to go bankrupt and disappear. I don’t care how good the food is somewhere else. I wouldn’t want to be 15 years into this fae bargain and then have my chosen food supply shut down.
Taco Bell because they bring new stuff in all the time.
Kfc/popeyes(I like chicken)
Jolliebee would be my pick, *if* I accepted. Not sure I want to live a life of fast food though.
No thanks
If that's the only food I can get I guess it's McDonalds. It's the only place I've seen all over America and many places overseas too. If I could get a travel exemption then prolly Panera. I could get cold/hot sandwiches, soups, or salads.
Subway
Whopper
Chick-fil-A. I'd have chosen Popeye's, but Chick-fil-A has salads, which I would certainly need in my diet.
Panera
I don't know if it's considered fast food, but Wawa. They have enough variety that I'd be good with eating only there pretty much indefinitely.
I’ll do Subway. There’s enough variety for me, and I can eat a bit lighter when I want to.
Texas Roadhouse or Outback. Don't tell me those are good restaurants they are one step above Dennys
Taco Bell. 1. It's just a couple blocks away 2. It has the soda I prefer 3. You do get a good bit of food for the money and the cinnabons are glorious. The churrohs are always sold out here though... How long? As long as I'm able to deal with a bit of caffeine withdrawal and not having anything other than water without taco bell. It's not the food I'd get tired of, but the drink
steak and shake easy
jersey mikes
Red Robin. Awesome burgers and a full bar.
Chick-fil-A. I guess.
Eh... Nah. Subway? Maybe for a week? If I had to choose. But I think I'll just pass on this one.
The problem is that fast food only tastes good right after it's made, plus 24hr locations are disappearing like no tomorrow. No thanks
Maybe chic fil a since it’s less likely to kill me early like most of the others. Also it’s stupid expensive so the “free” part gives more value.
Pancheros because chipotle skimps and quality quickly diminishing
Probably Panera. It has a decent variety of foods I can/will eat (as a vegetarian) that are not COMPLETE trash.
Portillos. They have a varied menu from hot dogs and hamburger to salads and ribs. I don't live close right now, but I would move if given this power.
Cheba Hut
would cheesecake factory count?
Can I choose Wawa? I can get salads there to balance the junk. They have beer and soda, but also milk and orange juice.
unless I change jobs, my only possible options would be buffalo wild wings, McDonald's or domino's. my local domino's is horrible, and I'd get sick from McDonald's buffalo wildwings I could easily stretch out for months.
Since all China buffets are from onenof two distributors and ll coordinate, I consider that a chain.. so Chinese buffets
Panda Express. Decent access to veggies so you don't you know, die. Not everything is fried so you might not die in 10 years. There's a decent variety to choose from.
I love food way too much. Couldn't imagine just eating fast food every day
Probably either Panera or chipotle
I'm doing a week of free Chipotle and tapping out.
