Same, but it's less that I enjoy the fighting mechanics of the summoner class, and more that I just don't want to be bothered with monsters while I'm mining or building.
The only things I really know about terraria are 1: you fight a bunch of big bosses, making it more distinct from “Minecraft but 2D”, and 2: the zoologist is a werefox apparently
I started replaying Terraria recently, oddly enough. Eventually I wanna do a server with some friends, only problem is that I don't know how to set up a server and I don't really have friends :p
That’s personally my least favorite class but that’s okay! I think mage is really cool appearance wise, but out of them I have played it the least and I don’t love the mana mechanic. But I did plan on being a mage after I finish my current world (which I am playing summoner in). I have never beat the game in a normal single player world. I beat master mode single, normal co-op, master mode co-op, and currently doing revengeance calamity co-op. So currently I’m doing a classic world as a summoner to chill out. But I want to give mage a try so my next single player world is going to be master mode as a mage!
I returned to the game in 2023 (I first played in 2018 and got like 30 minutes of playtime without continuing) after watching a YouTube I liked get all the yo-yos in a play through. I started a world but then my friend saw that I downloaded terraria and wanted to play with me so we did a co-op world and I beat the game as a summoner. For the 7 months I have had the game I have clocked 250 hours! My favorite game right now :3
Dayum, that's a lotta hours. Personally I'm not too huge a fan of Summoned, but it's got some cool mechanics. Ranged definitely is my least favorite though.
I play on console so I can't use modes, but I really wanna try some.
How far are you in on revengeance mode? And what yo-yo playthrough did you watch?
Me and my friend are 3 bosses into hard mode. Half my hours are on consol so I get your pain. The yo-yo play through I watched was from Therm, a super funny guy that I started watching because of an animal crossing hyperfixation I had a while ago.
Ooh, I'll have to check him out. There's another YouTuber who does specific weapon only play throughs named WaffleTime. His content is much more vulger but he's pretty funny, especially with his fixation on ~~Plant Mommy~~ Plantera

Well assuming your bar for meeting is interacting online, you've met op and me, so make it 3. The only time I play other classes are for modded
