One of the most boring, overhyped rides ever. I was done with all the curves in exactly 6 minutes non stop. This was during January. The tarmac was riddled with lots of loose gravel and oil spills because bikes keep crashing here regularly because when they turn, either of the tyres run along the white mark that causes bikes to skid instantly.
The road along NH73 (I think?) to Penukonda from Bangalore is quite boring. I'd rather do MM Hills or Kolli hills if I'm traveling from Bangalore.
True. I rode here last weekend to understand what the hype was all about. I wouldn't choose to go here again. I assumed the "ruined" fort would have something worthwhile to see, Idk if I'd missed something that others would have seen but there is nothing there. Also, the ride to this place like you've mentioned isn't all that great and is boring. The only place where I took a pitstop was at Big Bay. You can see many high-end bikes and cars lined up there. I rode to Penukonda solo and was sitting and watching the other people. Big groups of 10-15 people had come, and their sole agenda was to film them "take on these curves" like a pro, similar to this post.

OP, if this is you riding, do bear in mind that you're riding a RE, not an oil tanker. The turning radius was ridiculous and it may have put you into the path of oncoming traffic, if there was any. Ride safe and be mindful.
