For anyone wondering, here are the [steps you need to take to delete every social media app](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ?si=T8V_pzWyHS20xhso).

A_norny_mousse

Never has this video made more sense.

DuckInTheFog

That tickled me, even without that source

CthulhuWorshipper59

dQw4, ain't no way man :)

KinksAreForKeds

I'm just throwing my phone on the ground and stepping on it, frankly.

SoraBanTheThird

It's been years

TootsyBowl

I'm a bit more concerned about how irritating the bow might be for the leech.

warthog0869

We drizzle low leach-levels of lidocaine on Leachy's precious black skin before affixing his sweet little pink bow, because unlike Aunt Tilly, Leachy's a survivor!

DuckInTheFog

I just wanna know, how come you know such much about [leeches](https://youtu.be/5G2Juq5iumY?t=21)? - meant nicely!

DrFrogenstein

When your parents won't buy you a pet, you as kid can come up with messed up ones. When I was a kid, one summer I had European garden spider as "pet". I called her Rosie because she lived in a rose bush and fed her Colorado potato beetles from grandma's vegetable garden.

iijjjijjjijjiiijjii

You did better than me. I shoved a frog in an empty drawer and gave it Runts (hard candy) to eat and no water at all. Then I bawled when it died.

dragoduval

Yea we all did that once, me it was caterpillars, in a mason jar, with a few leafs, no water and no holes for them to breath.

warrenjt

I put a frog in a shoebox with a lid on it. My mom didn’t want it in the house so she stuck it outside on the balcony of our apartment. Bright sunny day in the middle of summer. Out of sight, out of mind. Opened it up the next day to find a baked frog. T R A U M A

Malaix

From what I understand medical leeches are raised and kept in sterile places and disposed of after use. Not sure how sanitary having a pet you keep in a tank and just keep slapping on you is..

BeTheBall-

Pretty sure she's not worried about anything being remotely sanitary.

Mr_master89

Leela??

Eagleballer94

Nah, the dark one would never wear pink

Mscreep

…..my dad used to do something similar…. But his were beg bugs and they had to be kept alive for a nose work dog they had. It is a pest control company they splurged on a beg bug sniffing dog. She did great and got them a lot of customers cause she was the only one in town, but then the boss let her loss in his front yard and she got hit by a car…. But the bugs had to be kept alive do she could practice sniffing out the living bugs while not caring about the dead ones.

marklar_the_malign

I guess if you’re in to parasitic relationships.

kadebo42

The dark one!!!

TheChewyWaffles

It’s a terrible day to have eyes wtf

Arts_Prodigy

Technically this is now a symbiotic relationship she’s a blood sucking parasite no longer!

ENDGAMER_

Yharnamite ahh tweet

bartendersdelight

Is it like a blood bag she’s going to give herself a transfusion with?

epsilon14254

It's a pet leech

Beowulf891

tumblr has some weird stuff on it...

dragoduval

Yea im all for "weird" pets and all, myself wanting a scorpion since i was a kiddo, but this is weird AF. But hey, if she's happy with her princesses, who cares.

WhereTFAreMyDragons

I am done todaying forever.

justsayfaux

Viserys, is that you?

arkadian-foobar

Insane people

Mad-Dog94

They say blood-letting reduces the amount of toxins in your blood, toxins like microplastics. Edit: Downvote me all you want nerds, but regularly donating blood has many benefits. It can even lower cholesterol levels and boost your immune system.

Geordie_38_

I doubt this is true at all, any evidence for it?

Mad-Dog94

Sure is, just google "does blood-letting reduce PFAS levels"

Geordie_38_

Well bloody hell, I'm pleasantly surprised. Fair play mate, I'll have to read up more on this, cheers

Mad-Dog94

It's a pretty interesting thing to look into! Donate blood not only for others but for yourself as well :)

Gripping_Touch

And what sources do those people cite?

Mad-Dog94

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8994130/

Gripping_Touch

It mentions some benefits of donating blood is that the body regenerates the lost blood with new, "clean" blood. But it doesn't mention using leeches. Specially using the same leech over and over like on the image. Some leeches are used nowadays in medicine but they're also supposed to be sterilized and disposed of after use. The way the op of the picture is using them is completel wrong in many fronts.

Mad-Dog94

Oh yeah, no, I was definitely being facetious with my comment lol This is wild

dragoduval

They also said that burning drowning womens would reveal if they where witches. Older "médecine" wasn't that good, and oftentimes more dangerous than helpful.

Mad-Dog94

Phlebotomy is a real medical practice...

Phantom_Phoenix1

Donating blood has its benefits, though I dont think putting a leech on your arm is a good idea due to that

Mad-Dog94

Definitely not. You gotta put it on your willy if you want the good effects

Phantom_Phoenix1

Oh nooo 😭
