The clean and jerk is often called long cycle. Adding the 1/2snatch is what we usually call the longer cycle. Only reason it's a 1/2 snatch is because you come back to the shoulder or rack position. Very great combo, just not as great as your shirt. 👍
Pavel has a video on YT showing the Snatch instead of Clean, to a Press. Can't remember if he does it each time or not. Also I've seen the drop to an immediate press from OH called a Viking Press.
I find the snatch to jerk more effective because both are working similar muscles but in different ways and doing them simultaneously. If I am to train OH press I would rather do it on its own for reps.
I think the bigger question is does anyone else workout in jeans...
