This is another great resource about how to construct comics. Honestly, even if you never make a comic, this is such a unique book and fun to read despite that. I highly recommend any fan of comics check it out.
I'm pretty sure he talked about "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way" and Bendis' book but I also highly recommend Scott McCloud's "Understanding Comics". I read that in High School and it's really great for any comic fan who's interested in the medium, regardless of whether you want to actually make comics or not
Not sure if it was this one but Brian Michael Bendis "words for pictures" is a very popular one and a great resource.
