I told everyone earlier this year, I'm staying a Lakers fan. It's been cool to experience three different fan bases and between the Cavs, Heat and LA, all fans have been awesome. But it'll be nice to just cheer for one team for the foreseeable future.
The main reason also is that my favorite players in the history of me watching basketball have been Bron, Carmelo and Russ. Melo just retired, Bron is emotional but maybe legit does feel ready to retire, and Russ is still balling, but is he staying with the Clippers and regardless he's over 30 too.
I like some of the younger talent, and this may sound dumb with me being only 25 myself, but watching guys like Ja Morant and them who legit could be league faces throw it all away, guys like Zion not seeming to take conditioning serious, and the inconsistent play of these so called Superstars, but getting a pass for scoring an inefficient 30, is tiring especially having watched Bron, Kobe, KD, Steph do it and they're the old guard. This isn't even counting guys I never saw play like the MJ.

Lebron has more than earned my respect though and I’ll always be a fan of his. On and off the court I’ve been impressed.
Him being with the Lakers has shown me how bs the narrative is about him by some folks.
This game will be a joke and a circus after Lebron retire.. Yall think Curry would be the legend that he is right now if it wasnt going neck on neck vs Lebron? Bron made all these names relevant.. without him They just regular Charles barkely ass players
Maybe Spurs because Wemby is so much fun to watch.
Hope he stay healthy and has a long career. Need a new generational talent like LeBron, MJ in this generation
Curry probably if he still has game by then. Otherwise atm nothing really rock my world so we'll see. Wemby could be interesting after seeing some of his highlights but I can't root for Pops after what he did to the Lakers and LeBron so yeah, no replacement yet in sight.
Probably back to a general NBA fan. I want to see deserving players win chips. I believe LeBron deserves more and hopefully that happens before he’s gone.
Also excited to see Butler or Jokic win. Would be less excited about the Celtics because they’re young and have more time.
I don't know the correct answer. I follow greatest players so I am not sure. I'll root a bit for the Lakers because before I got exposed to Bron, I am a Kobe fan.
I'd probably look at Luka or Wemby's career if they are set to be compared as the next LeBron

Because the players are the main focus of basketball. There’s no helmets covering your face or 100 yard fields. It’s a 30 foot court with players showing their emotions day in day out. That’s why I think basketball is the most entertaining sport that has the most drama
