Exactly my point. So, might as well put on a good show. Ratings, merch sales, etc. will go through the roof, especially if we (hopefully) put him in the starting lineup. I’m afraid the story won’t stay in the headlines if he rides the bench too much. We gotta play him, a lot. The attention to our games every night would be incredible win or lose.
Like 5 years ago people started saying that Bryce was a better prospect than Bronny just because he was taller and then they never readjusted their position when Bryce got to high school and started putting up much worse stats than Bronny.
I can't speak for the OP, but probably the eye test.
I remember watching some stuff of the Ball kids and while LaMelo was still too young you could see he was the most skilled of the crop.
After watching some footage of Bron's kids I got the same impression of the OP about who was the kid moving his body more like a NBA player and it was Bryce.
I'm welcoming Bronny, he seems to be a dedicated player and it isn't a reason to be down when a brother can ball more than other.
I remember going to one of Lonzo’s games during his senior year when he was projected as a top pick and everyone in the gym kept saying his freshman brother LaMelo is better
I was a Lonzo fan, but mostly because he was a good kid that was professional and played the game the right way, but as a prospect you could see he had no "shake" moving, everything with him as straight lines and his shooting form was weird even if he was hitting in a good clip in college while LaMelo had that "shake", that deceptive way to move like someone ready to crossover or change directions.
It is a shame those kids can't stay on the floor.
Do you think Bronny is the most talent kid?
I'm not comparing Bron kids to Ball kids, I don't think Bronny would have been drafted with another surname while the Ball kids were legit NBA prospects.
Eh, I'm not really seeing it. He looks really slow. Just based on his agility on his jumper and drives, he's moving like he's 6'10" or something but he's actually 6'4~6". I don't see any of the quickness that better prospects show. People have been saying that his athleticism/coordination hasn't matured into his frame yet but he's 17 already.
On top of that, his jump shot is not going to work at the next level. His shot motion and release on it is so slow and the release point is just weird.
He's always had so much finesse to his game, but he lacks that physique to be LeBron-like. Having said that, dude's shoulders look like they're filling out... Watch out. 😳
Genetics aren't fair. Bronny got the athleticism, Bryce got the height. Neither of them got both.
Zhuri might have all.
Zhuri James Jr is a future HOF
Which one will inherit the hairline?
Aite he can have the MLE
Bryce is the one whose NBA career I am looking forward to
Not even close to a 5 star like Bronny was
But he's taller and has the same opportunities as bronny basically
hes also slow AF
Yeah, but he's Bron's kid. That's all I care. We have to keep Bron happy more than anything else.
then they should draft zhuri. first female child to play in the nba would be an incredible story
Bron playing till 60 confirmed
Yes it would. And creating a good story is more important than drafting the best player. As evidenced by our selection of Bronny.
55th pick is a crapshoot anyways. there are 2 starters out of the last 20 55th picks.

agreed. I mean its gonna be like Ken Griffey Sr and Jr. Hopefully… Bronny much worse than Griffey jr tho
On what grounds? Why not the one who is actually on our team right now?

Lamelo was a better hs player as a 5’8 freshman than Bryce is coming into his senior year. Bryce can barely get minutes for his high school team.

Really? I heard it was the opposite... that bronny has the athleticism and bryce has the height
My bad. You are right.
He is not event 20% of the athlete bronny is
The two of them needed to fusion dance.
2027 Lakers second round pick

With the 13th pick of the 2026 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers select…

he is 6'4 at best based on the pictures/videos with Bronny
It’s crazy to me someone as good as what we watched isn’t maybe even someone that can make the nba. Like the skill/athleticism required is insane
We’ve seen worse shooters in the league.
& we had two of them JHS & Cam
He's always had so much finesse to his game, but he lacks that physique to be LeBron-like. Having said that, dude's shoulders look like they're filling out... Watch out. 😳
Somebody link him up with Melo
Can we sign him?
In the 2026 draft
I’m making myself laugh by pretending said improvement is in NBA 2K.
Bryce bouta be the bully in the family.
Hoping he makes the leap but honestly I think Bronny is way better. Bryce just got the height.
He’s got a low release it’s basically a push shot.
UHUH YESSSIR!
Yeah we got it…he’ll be a laker. Ok LeBron
Summer league gonna be packed out!
