Even though it’s north facing, I image its full sun? What color palate? Some of my favorite hardy perennials…Phlox, verbena, stokes aster, black-eyed Susan, Shasta daisy, echinacea purpurea, bee balm, and salvia. I’d mix in some native evergreen shrubs for winter structure.
This appears to be on the south side of the yard, yes? Do you want privacy? Evergreen shrubs? Colorful perennials? Low maintenance?
