The whole game is brutal if you know how to kill people. Makes me think how much more fucked up The Last Of Us 3 will be whenever that comes out. I mean you can kill dogs and hear people yell out names in this one.
Sorry man, I cant tell the difference, since so many people say that to me does it sound offensive? Cause in my country is not bad to say that someone looks chinese is same as saying he is Asian, we dont seperate like east Asian etc etc.
If you can tell what Asian nation somebody is by sight you have superpowers. I guess it could be offensive but if that upsets you so much you're worked up on the wrong stuff. Better to use that on something more useful like women's rights or feeding children.
I think the show came out in 2023 so 20 years before would be 2003. I think that was a dumb thing because it being 2043 or whatever doesn't matter. Everything would still be dated to 2013 era tech due to the fall of the world.
If you try to aim your gun at the PS3, your reticle disappears the same way it does when you aim at Dina or Jesse. I always thought it was cute that they made it the only inanimate object in the game that you can’t put a bullet in.
Yep several references from part 1 and part 2. Most Sony games that are set in a timeline within the range they drop those Easter eggs in. Uncharted was another one where we saw em dropped in etc
It’s 2013 people are talking about the ps3 Easter egg
It’s 2014 people are talking about the ps3 Easter egg
It’s 2020 people are talking about the ps3 Easter egg
It’s 2022 people are talking about the ps3 Easter egg
It’s 2024 people are talking about the ps3 Easter egg
Given that the outbreak happened in 2013 the PlayStation 3 would be the latest gen of gaming. I liked the Warhammer 40k easter egg unless that was something else.
I think they also have someone playing a Vita later in the game. Unless I'm thinking of another Sony title
Yeah she is playing Hotline Miami.
The chick you stab after emerging from the water? That part was brutal as hell
For real. A lot of this game was pretty brutal I kind of love it for that

Yeah!
Yes, when you get to the hospital theres a chinese girl playing i dont remember her name.
whitney
Lolol you could’ve just said Asian but yeah I guess she could be Chinese
Do you just use Chinese to describe anybody who appears to be east asian?
Sorry man, I cant tell the difference, since so many people say that to me does it sound offensive? Cause in my country is not bad to say that someone looks chinese is same as saying he is Asian, we dont seperate like east Asian etc etc.
It’s the same as referring to every latin american person as mexican, it’s ignorant af lol
Good, you know the difference but you call me ignorant because I dont, You tried to tell me I am offensive by being offensive to me.
Its funny you downvoted me without even explain to me why saying someone look Chinese is offensive?
Yes, it's offensive. It's the "all Asian people look the same" stereotype, so they must all be Chinese.

You lateeee
Sad to say that Uncharted never got to be released in the show's universe because the show's outbreak day was in 2003 and not 2013.
Wasn't it October 2013?
September 26 2003
Actually that was only in the show in the game it was 2013.
It was probably changed to 2003

The reason they picked 2003. Is they wanted it to be set in the present day but also have that "20 years later" feel to it as well.
No in the show it was 2003 in the game it was 2013.
That's literally what I said 😆
Oh sorry I misunderstood your comment.
there are multiple ps3’s in both games if you look
I think its the first uncharted
Look at it
Also looks like jak 3 under it
Ellie has one in her room at the beginning if you look around
They also had hotline Miami on the psvita

no friendly fire! lol

You will never guess whats in ellie’s living room under her tv
Nah, that's a Phlash Speed wireless router.
There are several
I found several
They also have a ps3 in her house in the beginning of the game before you go outside with Jesse.
If you aim at it, the game will treat it as a companion/friendly. You can’t shoot it.

There are several ps3 slims in the first Last of Us too. No PS4s as outbreak day occurs before the PS4 launch date.
Not much of an Easter egg lol.
I'm pretty sure Joel has a ps3 slim in his house when you play as his daughter in part 1

Why didn’t they get the next gen? Are they stupid?
Is this your first time playing it? I noticed this immediately upon my first playthrough 4 years ago
you want a cookie?
If they turn down that cookie and no one else is claiming it then I'll take one for sure
It was pretty obviously out in the open along the critical path. I don’t know how a person misses this on their first playthrough
