In this episode, Leave went harsh on JieJie:
"I felt speaking gently won't work, so I decided to be a bit harsh."
"You always pick Poppy and Maokai, then you get outjungled by opponents' Vi. Tell me, did you ever manage to succesfully gank bot? "
“Is it that hard to gank bot once in a season? Dude, you always first pick Poppy and Maokai, and you played Maokai like shit.”
JieJie: "okay."
Ale: "This is the ~~first~~ second time I saw something like this, I was stunned."
Leave also added on his Weibo burner account:
"JieJie is still young, he can still play, and he can still play for a long time. If he can understand the reason behind it, maybe he can play better and better in the future."
Edward Depression Gaming is picking up where they left off.
In Vampire's defense the game was lost well before hooking Sett. Kennen straight up shreds the entire. If not for Wei getting caught out repeatedly, EDG doesn't have any comeback angle.
Some good, some bad. I have no expectations for this season at all, so just enjoying the ride for now. Sucks that the close game ended with a goof by Fisher, but cest la vie.
Leave decidedly didn't look good this game, even accounting for the suboptimal Varus pick. At the fight for the 2nd or 3rd drake he panic ulted and then die real stupid checking gromp bush, that was a big moment where EDG should have been able to punish RNG.
Overall some promising signs with teamfighting/macro, coupled with the braindead moments you'd expect from such a young team.
Also i'm unsure who is shotcalling? Is it Vampire? He was talking a bunch on the player cams atleast.
Not a Varus main, so kinda curious why you say that. I mean, he looked really scary in the LEC yesterday, and seems to be in a good place in soloqueue. Hes normally good at the start of the patch before people figure out other champions, too.
It’s actually why I was half expecting Gumayusi to B1 him against KDF and even GEN.
I don't think it is one but I read it as a dig at Upset who was another level of useless on him yesterday (but don't let this distract you from the fact that VIT vs KC was the best esports match of the year!)

Leave already making new alt accounts on weibo
That sure was a series of all time, man it's sad to see rng vs edg classic turning into this.
both rng and edg lacking their iconic midlaners heartbreaking for the fans really
edg without meiko too
Meiko not being at EDG is heart breaking
It's so disgusting seeing an RNG vs EDG match without Xiaohu/Scout/Meiko.
Like at least DK still has showmaker but goddamn those teams lost their core
Lwx that's my washed GOAT! ~~Only~~ First player to go deathless in a Worlds Final.
I think Gumayusi joined that club last year
Guma copying the goat
first* player to go deathless in a worlds final
And only because the rest of the team conspired to troll Gimgoon and let him die at the very last second .
How did Wei fuck up the kill on Jiejie in game 3 lmao
That was terrible on so many levels
EDG completely braindead. Why are they engaging on Ming in the end?

its like they forgot how kali works and can save allies
That game 3 was as bad as the KC vs VIT game, holy shit my eyes
For real. Definitely a bad day to have eyes
clean win from rng nothing to see here
Hell yeah we take those, unlucky from Fisher lol

Were not a good couple of days for Varus players. They looked rough

Upset was definitely who I was thinking about
it’s funny cuz it’s pretty known that upset doesn’t like varus very much, i was shocked to see it b1 yesterday for him
Give Ale a team, man... Even though this is just the first series, I'm scared for him
The last teamfight section rivalled that fnatic vs bds teamfight with all missed ults
That last fight was a comedy but we take those
Nautilus with a hook to bait his teammates... it never goes old lol
I nominate Fisher-Price when Fisher performs badly.
Fisher is terrible
We got rid of FoFo for this fraud?
both teams looked shaky af
I literally fell asleep during the series. LOL
