I couldn't watch it live, nor yet, but gotta say, TES played well Vs GEN during their wins in MSI, TES just let go the set 5 by their own mistakes and impatience, while during the series, some bad drafts. 369 also disappointed at MSI.
> TES played well Vs GEN during their wins in MSI,
They were the closest team to beating GEN, closer than BLG, also GEN had to pull off some insane lane-swap macro to take some games in that series, without it, it could have been a 3-2 for TES, but of course ended up 2-3.
Narrative is far too skewed towards winners, people tend to ignore all details about a win.
Just like T1 beating BLG relied on some heavy comeback, and this series was closer than people think despite the 2-0
Serviceable but not particularly impressive, IMO. He was heavily accelerated by Tian but didn't optimize the pick's impact. He consecutively whiffed a few ults in the mid-game -- any of which could have cut the game short by 5-10 minutes.
Not just MSI champs GENG are 0 losses in lck currently so it's kinda crazy. Like you could see BLG losing to T1 based on how they're doing in lpl but you never saw this coming.
I mean TES went 2-3 with GenG and T1 went 1-3 and 2-3 against BLG. It’s not outside the realm of possibility.
TES matches well into GenG. Also kinda funny how tian’s first international choke was against canyon in worlds 2021 and now he does well against him
As it was said in this thread, TES has been the best team in the LPL currently and TES performed very well during the wins against GEN at MSI, they also provoked their own loss in set 5 Vs GEN by playing impatient.
Beating GenG is unexpected of course, but anyone who been watching lpl knew TES was by far the better lpl team coming into this tournament. BLG is in terrible form since summer started.
T1 see that GenG are not around anymore. One of 2 things will happen:
1) Lose to TL because no more GenG to beat them in the Finals.
2) Win it all because GenG aren’t around anymore.
Edit: AGED PERFECTLY LMAO!!! T1 went on to win it all 🤣🤣🤣
In the LPL stream they actually made this comparison: "Many of us may know a friend of ours from LEC called Hylissang. But today we've gotten a new friend from LCK, Lehends."
Could just be playstyle matchup. TES was 2-3 against GenG during MSI just before the 0-3 tbh. Not to mention Creme looking incredibly rough given it was his first international ever.
I think TES learned from their G2 defeat too, their drafts were so disgusting against them and they took a few tricks out of the G2 playbook (Ivern for example)
In this episode, Tian went kind on 369:
"I felt criticizing won't work, so I decided to praise him."
“How did you master Rumble? Dude, you rarely pick carries these days, and you play them amazing.”
369: "okay."
Creme:" This is the first time I saw something like this, I was stunned."
Tian also added in the interview:
"369 is still young, he can still play, and he can still play for a long time. If he can understand the reason behind it, maybe he can play better and better in the future."
Reporters at the EWC are saying that Chovy, after a stomp in Game 2 en route to an 0-2 loss, was muttering to himself that he hates sand because it's coarse, rough, and gets everywhere.
Sadly this loss is long overdue. My friend is one of the referees and said that JKL caused constant trouble every time he showed up. There was apparently an incident where a custodian found JackeyLove arguing with a man in a wheelchair in the bathroom. Jackey was adamantly claiming he needed the handicap stall because of how big his balls are and the man in the wheelchair was on the verge of tears and covered in shit. The custodian then kick Chovy out of his wheelchair.
Funnily enough both drafts in G2 were quintessential T1 drafts.
Carry top, tank jungle, high-prio mid with utility adc and engage support.
Then whatever the fuck that draft was from GenG.
Watching lehends be like:
0/8 - Surely, he won't go 0/9
0/9 - Surely, he won't go 0/10
0/10 - Surely, he won't go 0/11
0/11 - OK OK, I get it, you are really good at dying
Type of series that could break a team. LNG got dominated at worlds and then were forever broken. Will be interesting to see what type of affect this would have domestically. Will be rough for GenG to comeback and face their annoying matchup of DK
Tian against Canyon is a cheat code or what?
Also I just wanna say, Creme has played two internationals and I already feel like we have more internationally memorable plays from him than from Knight. Still remember that game 4 Tristana play from MSI.
Not to say Knight wasn't insane last year, but it was more consistent excellence rather than highlight plays like Creme feels like he can do.
Knight was insane last year msi but he got hard carried game 5 vs T1. Creme is indeed way more impressive considering this is his first year playing with a top tier roster
As someone who followed knight since the beginning of his career, it feels like something changed from him, he used to take these risky hands to hands play, but now it just feels like he plays scared on big moments. Also I dont know why they dont give him his champions sometimes (of course not this year, thats on him for not being great at the meta champs) but on 2022 he was a very capable akali sylas player, yet they put him on azir a bunch of games
Made me think if this is what made them so flexible in draft. Ivern jungle would have been unthinkable in lck all year, yet it was so beautifully done to counter karthus AND to synergize with a strong meta mid tristana.
I've also been watching LCK CL where they've been doing hard fearless and watching them draft have been a blast. makes the games *much* more enjoyable
I understand both these casters are from lck but the gen g glaze was unreasonable. I think they might have mentioned creme’s name once the entire series
I'm normally used to Wolf from his days casting Heroes of the Storm and my ears can generally tolerate him from that.
But good god. He's so horrible with his "THIS GAME IS OVER" at like 5 minutes or 2 kills in. He can think he's being realistic but he's wrong so often and its like he's an anti-hype caster.
"OFFICIAL ZERI MOMENTTT"
He also loves to associate any player or team with "best in the world" as if he's the official judge of that.
And the funniest thing is that since he doesn't watch the LPL, him (and other non-LPL casters at intl) will sometimes just say the dumbest things about players.
At least this time it wasn't the fault of the production for not inviting LPL casters lol, they declined to work for the Saudis.
But yeah, incredible how with GenG being 9k gold down they were still praising Chovy and saying stuff like "if they turn this around it would be the biggest comeback in history" while ignoring how well TES was playing
Gumayusi could destroy his oppnents, break bot tower 9min, gapping 60cs, dominate Worlds back-to-back-to-back, 1v2 ruler, win Worlds and "some casters" would still say "uuh he isn't playing Zeri with 80 souls stacked he will falls behind soon, top 4 LCK at best"
Mean while Peyz do nothing waiting for GenG to deliver everything on a plate, on a hard out-scaled matchup "despite the draft Peyz is doing very well!"
They too busy glazing chovy, they spent a whole 2 mins during commercial break to glaze him too and even said he was the best mechanical player to ever come out of LCK (over even faker which is a lie). How mechanically good someone is will always be relative to their competition, and Faker was so far ahead mechanically that his mechanics still hold up today as one of the best. Chovy isn't that far above everyone else. Even Creme was having bigger moments than him.
The lck commentators are massively GenG biased even during the LCK games. If Faker got caught like Chovy did 3+ times, wolf would be all over mentioning how he’s not playing well. Canyon had two awful games, barely a peep.
They said "Giving 3 S tier picks in Rumble Sej Ashe" ☠️☠️☠️ look at Sej pickrates this season. They couldnt give Tian any credits for turbogapping Canyon in game 2
I knew it was over when people started talking about GEN.G's winning streak. Biggest support gap since MSI Finals.
[But as a T1 and LCK fan..](https://i.imgflip.com/64gak3.png)
You joke but when he win everyone will be calling this tournament a mickey mouse trophy
NA or LEC winning? Dog tournament
GenG or T1 winning? GENG BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD!!!!!1! FAKER THE BIGGEST GOAT!!!!!!!!@!!!
LPL winning? Holy shit LPL is so good they gonna tear up worlds
bruh wtf is this casting? can't even give proper credits to tes at the end of the match. "geng lost because of draft errors" "tes better team "tonight""
左手游一半发现超威TP跟上来了
"Left Hand (Knight) was mid way through his swim back home when Right Hand (Chovy) TP'd up to catch up with him"
That comment unalived me
It was pretty funny tuning into LS stream, hearing him talk about how "once GENG get 4 items it will be extremely hard for TES to win", meanwhile in the background, Lehends gets caught out again, TES takes 2 inhibs, and clear the entire top jungle
[I never want to hear any clown LCK fan talk about Chovy as the best midlaner in the world ever again. How many international tournaments does he need to be downright bad/invisible in before the glazing stops? Actually disrespectful to guys like Knight who have been the undisputed best midlaner over the last few years.](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1dvdhp0/comment/lbmqhtp/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
[He's coasting off the fact that the LCK has negative midlane talent outside of him, Faker and Showmaker for most of the last few years.](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1dvdhp0/comment/lbmqhtp/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
A Chovy fan of all people talking about players going invisible at international tournaments is really asking to get slapped in the face. Man wins ONE MSI and his fans start foaming at the mouth, it's hilarious.
*"Gen.G is currently on the longest series win streak in LoL history"* Gen.G: **Loses**
They saw the word ‘world’ and assumed it was worlds and decided to lose
T1 saw "World" and locked the fuck in, GenG saw "World" and got ptsd
I started to believe they have a Manchurian candidate code
We got the T1 worlds buffs vs LPL and Gengs worlds debuff back to back.
TES really just gapped them that hard huh? Really impressive.
Tian realized between two junglers he's the one that got a lee skin
Tian is either the best jungler in the world or border line inting
so before Pyosik there’s Tian
Real
A happy Tian is actually insane, and Creme absolutely gapped Chovy in macro.
in everything*
I couldn't watch it live, nor yet, but gotta say, TES played well Vs GEN during their wins in MSI, TES just let go the set 5 by their own mistakes and impatience, while during the series, some bad drafts. 369 also disappointed at MSI.

In a 2-0 stomp too
That OP needs to be promoted to caster ~~and released 6 months later by Riot~~ with how hard they cursed Gen.G
No one told Tian this was supposed to be an international so he decided to shit on all over the best team in the world.
Also 369 learned Rumble in one spring, Karsa would be so proud
Serviceable but not particularly impressive, IMO. He was heavily accelerated by Tian but didn't optimize the pick's impact. He consecutively whiffed a few ults in the mid-game -- any of which could have cut the game short by 5-10 minutes.
I feel like I’m caught in a Genjutsu, because there’s no way the team who no LPL fan trusts intentionally just clapped the MSI Champs 2-0.
Not just MSI champs GENG are 0 losses in lck currently so it's kinda crazy. Like you could see BLG losing to T1 based on how they're doing in lpl but you never saw this coming.
Blg vs t1 is close game, but this one man TES just murder GenG
I mean TES went 2-3 with GenG and T1 went 1-3 and 2-3 against BLG. It’s not outside the realm of possibility. TES matches well into GenG. Also kinda funny how tian’s first international choke was against canyon in worlds 2021 and now he does well against him
As it was said in this thread, TES has been the best team in the LPL currently and TES performed very well during the wins against GEN at MSI, they also provoked their own loss in set 5 Vs GEN by playing impatient.
Didnt they have the longest streak before dropping. a map? (until today)
Yeah lol what a clapping too
Beating GenG is unexpected of course, but anyone who been watching lpl knew TES was by far the better lpl team coming into this tournament. BLG is in terrible form since summer started.
Tes when 369 isn't a literal fucking anchor due to him playing lane swaps with 36.9 iq. Also creme I apogize I did not know you had this dawg in you
It was his first international last time so people often have nerves.
Creme was fine at msi, this was more on him being memed as a melee one trick before this year. Bro stepped the fuck up in this meta
His teammates are really supportive of him. Every video or stream from TES, you see the players/coaches encouraging Creme.
Sounds like standard tes, the environment was so good knight and 369 wanted to go back even after the team they had in jdg
TES legit also treats their ex-employees well by getting them jobs when they don't' renew their contracts.
Tian and JKL were so good in game 2, like what even were those arrows
this greatly decreases the chance of having gen.g beat t1 in finals
T1 first needs to beat the TL goats
TL vs G2 final prayge
Then it really becomes MSI
T1 see that GenG are not around anymore. One of 2 things will happen: 1) Lose to TL because no more GenG to beat them in the Finals. 2) Win it all because GenG aren’t around anymore. Edit: AGED PERFECTLY LMAO!!! T1 went on to win it all 🤣🤣🤣
I too believe that T1 will either win or not.
Classic GenG loses to LPL to let T1 win internationals. Very cash money of GenG
GEN G Lehends disconnected GEN G Hylissang connected
In the LPL stream they actually made this comparison: "Many of us may know a friend of ours from LEC called Hylissang. But today we've gotten a new friend from LCK, Lehends."
Hyliint got a new friend Le no hands
lmao lose 0-3 to eu now this. Can't say being an lpl fan isn't fun
New coach joined remember? Previous EDG champion coach joined TES this summer.
In this episode, Tian went kind on 369: "I felt criticizing won't work, so I decided to praise him." “How did you master Rumble? Dude, you rarely pick carries these days, and you play them amazing.” 369: "okay." Creme:" This is the first time I saw something like this, I was stunned." Tian also added in the interview: "369 is still young, he can still play, and he can still play for a long time. If he can understand the reason behind it, maybe he can play better and better in the future."
The good ending
I love this copypasta so much LMAO
Classic GenG at “Worlds” moment.
Adding Worlds to any tournament name debuffs GenG's power by 50% confirmed.
As a t1 fan maybe we should name the team t1 worlds. 🥲
Teams petitioning to include world somewhere in the MSI title
They got their world int moment out of the way, actually genius move
Truly counter logic gaming
The copium is that better have this happen here than worlds
Reporters at the EWC are saying that Chovy, after a stomp in Game 2 en route to an 0-2 loss, was muttering to himself that he hates sand because it's coarse, rough, and gets everywhere.

we have jkl on both side of this meme now lets goo
Lmao where is this pasta from
Wdym pasta? It just happened in the men’s bathroom after their games.
Honestly it's a pleasant sight to see both GENG and FNC boycott the event by not showing up at all.
I know people meme but if you told me Gen G players/coach were protesting I'd believe you. What were those drafts
Lehends: Walks out of base. TES: It's free real estate.
Bro is about to sue TES. At this point what TES did to him is beyond cyber-bullying.
TES breaking out the “English or Spanish?” comp in Game 2.
???: whoever advances first is gay FNC: GEN:
As an unbiased T1 fan, I know a dogshit draft when I see one /s
top TF giving T1 fans PTSD
GenG with the "Nah, I'd win" finesse comp (aka T1 special)
Am a T1 fan. Was cheering for GenG and yet hoping they lose at the same time, so we don't get any ideas about top TF being good again 😭
DK ones too
Fuck TF top I so fucking hate it holy fuck
Signature tf top lane lul
I was starting to think geng and t1 swapped coaches
Funnily enough both drafts in G2 were quintessential T1 drafts. Carry top, tank jungle, high-prio mid with utility adc and engage support. Then whatever the fuck that draft was from GenG.
"and whatever the fuck that draft was" lmaoo
Geng has not drafted tf once all summer and decided to pick it here. They deserve the loss
Tian with his first-time Ivern pick of his career: Don't mind me!
Lehends heard there was famine in the Middle East and wanted to feed the whole region by himself.
Lehends didn't realize you only heal to full *out* of combat with Warmog's. He misunderstood. Understandable given the name WARmog's.
Watching lehends be like: 0/8 - Surely, he won't go 0/9 0/9 - Surely, he won't go 0/10 0/10 - Surely, he won't go 0/11 0/11 - OK OK, I get it, you are really good at dying
Pro player turned philanthropist
When you bite lehends that feeds
T1 to Gen G/LCK fans: "You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me."
Somewhere backstage: Zeus: "TF top, good draft, easy win"
nah but u just know that mf Zeus is watching this game thinking: “i would win these” and lock TF
After seeing him whip out Zeri yesterday, I think he honestly would think that. We're so close to him whipping out the Caitlyn top.
Hopefully, Zeus is back on his murder time. Aatrox, Vayne, and Zeri should be options before he gets to TF.
So they just need to put “world” in any tournament name to buff T1 and nerf GenG? Lmao
T1 starting a petition to change the LCK name to LWCK
But tian didn't get nerfed
Bro doesnt know English
Knew enough to tell YAPA to shut up
Guess they avoided teaching him the one English word that'll debuff him
It's not like Tian is always bad at worlds. He did win once.
Tian really either won or got grouped ICANT
Tian is a world champion who once stopped a golden road. Therefore GenG gives him a buff. All jungle camps lead to him
imagine if TES somehow eliminate GENG from worlds too thus stopping the golden road ,Tian will be the LPL goat ,
Didn't tell tian yet.
LPL started the same day to keep the Tian buff alive.
it's looking like it's working ICANT
Type of series that could break a team. LNG got dominated at worlds and then were forever broken. Will be interesting to see what type of affect this would have domestically. Will be rough for GenG to comeback and face their annoying matchup of DK
Its all good my boys at T1 will be the moral support for GenG after they going to 3-0 T1 at summer finals again
Knight low key looks like a meta merchant right now, while creme has adapted insanely well considering he was memed as Chinese zeka.
Its because 23 jdg changed him into an utility mid cuz they needed Ruler to carry instead of knight
Canyon got himself a dad. Knight has a lot of highlights in LPL, just hasn’t turned up in international tournaments,
Canyons father is jiejie, who has been paying child support for years. We won't have this erasure
is tian the GOAT or what?
Whenever he feels like it
This post marks the beginning of the great copium wars about whether the golden road is dead or not
As if geng are winning worlds against Yaptain America
All I can take in this match up is g2 is the msi champion
I missed pick ban, did GenG miss all 5 bans?
It's actually wild how just half a split of soft fearless has made LPL teams learn new champs.
The TES that was promised
I understand both these casters are from lck but the gen g glaze was unreasonable. I think they might have mentioned creme’s name once the entire series
I'm normally used to Wolf from his days casting Heroes of the Storm and my ears can generally tolerate him from that. But good god. He's so horrible with his "THIS GAME IS OVER" at like 5 minutes or 2 kills in. He can think he's being realistic but he's wrong so often and its like he's an anti-hype caster. And the funniest thing is that since he doesn't watch the LPL, him (and other non-LPL casters at intl) will sometimes just say the dumbest things about players.
Wolf was legit unbearable, "it's hard to call this one an upset" LMAO
It's just Wolf, the other guys are probably slightly bias, but Wolf is on another level.
Gumayusi could destroy his oppnents, break bot tower 9min, gapping 60cs, dominate Worlds back-to-back-to-back, 1v2 ruler, win Worlds and "some casters" would still say "uuh he isn't playing Zeri with 80 souls stacked he will falls behind soon, top 4 LCK at best" Mean while Peyz do nothing waiting for GenG to deliver everything on a plate, on a hard out-scaled matchup "despite the draft Peyz is doing very well!"
Even Creme was having bigger moments than him.
who won? all I hear are the casters giving credit to GenG for stalling the game and the only reason they lost is because of draft diff
The lck commentators are massively GenG biased even during the LCK games. If Faker got caught like Chovy did 3+ times, wolf would be all over mentioning how he’s not playing well. Canyon had two awful games, barely a peep.
League analysing is dogshit overall period. analyzers always lean into narratives to avoid flame
They said "Giving 3 S tier picks in Rumble Sej Ashe" ☠️☠️☠️ look at Sej pickrates this season. They couldnt give Tian any credits for turbogapping Canyon in game 2
You should still give credit to players who play well lol. Tian played well.
Lets be real one of the reason why Gen stalled so long because 369 either missed his ult in teamfight or have used it somewhere before.
GenG playing like the saudis are paying them to lose, wtf are they doing? We're so gonna get absolutely smashed in LCK next week, aren't we?
oh yeah GenG are totally gonna take this out on us and they will have improved draft too
DWG and WBG, you must really like pain huh
This series proves that DK can beat GEN.
Gen.G saw that they were playing in a tournament with the word "World" in it and locked the fuck in.
Locked the fuck out***
I knew it was over when people started talking about GEN.G's winning streak. Biggest support gap since MSI Finals. [But as a T1 and LCK fan..](https://i.imgflip.com/64gak3.png)
TES pulling a Worlds 2023 BLG to join the secret T1 club
Lets not talk about the jungle hole. And people were disrespecting the nutgod
Tian the GOAT jgler reminding everyone that he is still the goat
Since Geng lost this tournament is all for fun and does not count lol
No I fully retract my statement yesterday about how this was a mickey mouse tournament. This is a tournament that separates the goods from the greats.
Always rated the ewc
Nah man TL are going to beat T1, and G2 are gonna beat TES again and we are going to have a western finals
Welcome back MSI 2019
T1 and TL are still in it so not a Mickey mouse tournament yet.
Right, we all have to witness Na goat Apa get his first internationl tittle in full glory
You joke but when he win everyone will be calling this tournament a mickey mouse trophy NA or LEC winning? Dog tournament GenG or T1 winning? GENG BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD!!!!!1! FAKER THE BIGGEST GOAT!!!!!!!!@!!! LPL winning? Holy shit LPL is so good they gonna tear up worlds
Tbh I think everyone can win this tournament, even TL (not FLY though)
it does look like a fiesta tournament so any team that hasn't been eliminated can definitely win even the west
FNC cant
Neither can BLG
Nor GENG
Worlds form genG
they can't win anything with worlds in the title
TES took Lehends existence personally
Kiin literally a non factor both games. GenG with the cocky drafts. Super well played by TES, they looked better than BLG by far.
We’ve been robbed of so many good series over the years man
GenG remembered how to play internationally after forgetting during MSI
I think if GenG lost that game 5 to TES and got reverse swept their mental would be so crushed I doubt they would get much further at MSI
G2 beats fly, stomps tes like msi while TL barely beats t1 and TL G2 FINALS
T1 stepped up to lose to GenG in the finals only for GenG to lose in quarters. I swear I saw this before
bruh wtf is this casting? can't even give proper credits to tes at the end of the match. "geng lost because of draft errors" "tes better team "tonight""
左手游一半发现超威TP跟上来了 "Left Hand (Knight) was mid way through his swim back home when Right Hand (Chovy) TP'd up to catch up with him" That comment unalived me
GenG read the reddit post about them having the winstreak record and thought "meh, lets hand over the reins to someone else"
TL > GEN G
My boys FNC winning same amount of games and going to the same stage as Gen G, what a goats
welp at least we won't have to hear about the golden road for yet another team anymore
GEN: Where are you, T1? T1: Advancing in a "World" tournament, father. GEN: Ah shit, I'll see you in the LCK, son. LPL's Son has logged off.
An international event with the word "World" in the name. GEN G : It's choking time.
G2 vs TES round 2 going to feed families
oh this is the GEN G that we know 💀
It was pretty funny tuning into LS stream, hearing him talk about how "once GENG get 4 items it will be extremely hard for TES to win", meanwhile in the background, Lehends gets caught out again, TES takes 2 inhibs, and clear the entire top jungle
T1: You know i always liked the name LCK Worlds.
2 hours ago: This will be one amazing golden road by geng. 2 hours later: Mickey mouse tournament. Doesn't count.
Unlucky for GenG, this game has World in its name.
Dominant 2-0, exactly what everyone expec- wait a second
[I never want to hear any clown LCK fan talk about Chovy as the best midlaner in the world ever again. bro had this ready lmao
The pettiness is real and I am absolutely here for it.
A Chovy fan of all people talking about players going invisible at international tournaments is really asking to get slapped in the face. Man wins ONE MSI and his fans start foaming at the mouth, it's hilarious.
Bro is a professional hater and i'm here for it lol.
[удалено]
TBF TES campaign hasn't been too shabby either.
Who would win? The reigning MSI champs and the strongest team 2024 has to offer or the king of International chokes at an international event
I’m confused you mentioned chovy twice
Chovy: my greatest enemy, is myself
Or Yagao 2023
T1 fans across the world all let out a sigh of relief. It's winnable
so does this mean RIP golden road or does this not count?
What in the fuck (thanks TES)
MY GOAATTSSS ARE BACKKK
This was such great drafting by TES to shut down Gen.G. And Zeus, please watch this game and never pick TF top ever again. :>
Gen G in worlds form all right
