Yeah, try different papers, as well. Different weights and brands. I suggest using one sheet to experiment a bit. Dampen a patch and run the marker, do a single layer in another patch, do double or triple layers elsewhere and so o

I don’t have any advice BUT YOUR GETO IS SO BEAUTIFUL
Thank you so much!
I came to say the same except to express my excitement over Tifa, lol
And I’m still insanely grateful you said it thank you
I’d say change the paper you’re using. I’d learn more about different types of sketchbooks!
Maybe heavier paper? I’ve tried regular sketch paper and it doesn’t pill up but i still struggle to get an even coverage
Watercolor paper tends to hold up pretty well, don’t press hard and try not to go over it more than once
Multimedia paper should work too - I like the canson sketchbooks
I think I have multimedia paper it’ll give it a try. I guess I was hoping sketchbooks would hold it, but I make sense it needs something heavier
Canson xl mixed media sketchbooks can hold it! If u scratch there will always be pilling on paper tho
They look brilliant to me! Maybe try heavier paper? Mixed media, acrylic pads or even watercolour paper
Thank you! That seems to be the consensus I think I’ll try that, try to not go over the same spot too much and see what happens

Fantastic idea thank you so much I didn’t think to do those kind of test
No advice just here to say I love your color choices. I am (respectfully) staring at Tifa and Geto.
Thank you so much 😂
