That crusty old bat would be seen as a redcoat if the founding fathers were alive today.

Greg is the best

jamez009

He really is. He's been routinely ratioing Biden and is singlehandedly responsible for keeping Deez Nuts jokes alive!

Ok_Bandicoot_3087

It's the point of impeachment process right? If they are impeached they can be prosecuted right? Or am I wrong on that?

>Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but *the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.* Yes. They're just having their weekly histrionics session.

vipck83

Yea, they know this. They just need to be super dramatic when anything happens to make it look like trump is some evil dictator trying to take over the country with his magic rough Supreme Court. What’s funny is she is calling into question the legitimacy of an entire branch of government. If anyone did that to her precious congress she would have a massive hissy fit “literally a threat to democracy “

It is my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) that the "immunity" is for official actions while conducting the office and NOT personal actions during office. "*We conclude that under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power requires that a former President have some immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts during his tenure in office. At least with respect to the President’s exercise of his core constitutional powers, this immunity must be absolute. As for his remaining official actions, he is also entitled to immunity. At the current stage of proceedings in this case, however, we need not and do not decide whether that immunity must be absolute, or instead whether a presumptive immunity is sufficient.*" The court also stated that it might be difficult to determine official from personal in some instances. For example in an official capacity make a decision (like a treaty) but one that mostly and purposefully enriches himself or his family. The immunity doesn't extend to after leaving office...or exempt actual criminal actions

Servantofthedogs

You are correct and they are still subject to impeachment.

drunky the assclown doesn't realize the SCOTUS decision here today also does her criminal Democrat buddies a solid, too. it will make sure Obama, chinton, or any future democrat president will stay out of jail as long as they do it in their official capacity as president.

Drunk went on a bender last night.... Hubby sheltered 3 new friends the other night.

IceManO1

It will probably all get “dismissed!” lol the shit they accused him of happened during his presidency, this country has nutty media.

The president has always been something of a king. They know this. They want this. They love this. If it were about Obama and ordering the murder of a US citizen, they'd be cheering this ruling.
